Shradha Sharma
Though Shradha Sharma plays the docile Ambika in SaharaOne's Sunno... Harr Dill Kuchh Kehtaa Hai, she is nothing like her onscreen character. "If my husband were to cheat on me, I would throw him out of the house or divorce him. Infidelity is unacceptable to me. But I am glad that people like me in this character," she says. Shradha says she still can't get over the fact that people actually sympathise with the character as they would with a family member. "Recently, I met some women in a shopping mall who said they felt really bad for me and were ready to thrash my on-screen husband for his behaviour," she laughs. So what kind of equation does she have with her on-screen hubby Mamik? "Mamik is my source of entertainment on the sets. He is also very protective about me," says Shradha. Considering Ambika is so different from her character, why did she accept the role? "Though people look down on saas-bahu serials, these serials have high TRPs. So I don't see any harm in doing something like that," she says. But like all TV actors, Shradha too wants to enter Bollywood. "I want to act in films but getting a break in Bollywood is no easy task."
Talking about her hectic schedule, Shradha adds, "My friends are very angry because I haven't been able to meet them." Besides Shradha has also missed out on what she likes doing the best — partying. "I love to party. You can see me on the dance floor all through a party," she says. So how does this party girl manage to don sarees? "It was quite a struggle in the beginning. I used to trip over my sarees all the time. The unit members used to have a good laugh thanks to my antics. I love wearing, short skirts and denims, so this was quite a learning experience," she concludes.
