I have heard of the story where Shiv destroys Ganesh and he dies. Then Shiv gives him the head of an elephant. Anyway, we have seen Parvati's overfears over the disappearance of Karthikeya. I don't know how she is going to behave after the death of the baby Ganesh. Maybe, she is going to curse the whole world.

Anyway, I don't think this track is soon to come. I guess, the avatar of Durga, the Samudra manthan and if the CVs are kind, the Mahavidyas are going to be shown after the death of Tarkasur.Do you guys know of any more myths about them?

Paravti's son is called Ganesh only after his head is replaced with the baby Elephant's head, then Shivji makes him head of all the Ganas that's why he is called Ganesh. So calling it Ganesh's death is absolutely wrong. In fact Ganesh never dies.

Change the topic's name.

Most likely Vinaayak.

Vi- means without and Naayak means Lord / Controller .

Since PArvati created him without (Vi) her Lord (Naayak)

This is really my conjecture- based on why Ganapati would have acquired this name.

In other serials parvati showed her NAVDURGA avtar after death of ganesha and tried to destroy whole world but when devtaas sung her stuti and giv e her sympathy that her putra will be alive then only she gave them rest of peace. I agree some told dat after head replacement he was named ganesh but sum told just after the birth parvati gave name Ganesh i.e.Head of all ganas.
