Baba ka ghar!

When the show began, Baba ka ghar was practically a character. Now, it seems to have been rendered inconsequential and there has been no proper closure either.

I was just thinking that it would be interesting if they turned Baba ka ghar into an orphanage or a temporary shelter for street children. We don't know where the Khushi track is going, whether her parents will come back to claim her or what. The fact is there are so many Khushis out there and Ashutosh and Nidhi cannot bring all of them home. So, why not put their joint legacy to good use and provide shelter to such children? I think those of you who have seen Lage Raho Munnabhai will remember that old age home that VIdya ran. It was such a delightful story and heartwarming too. Something on those lines would offer scope for drama, twists and turns etc. And it would be so meaningful given Ashutosh's orphaned past. Rather than run after Mallika and return the house to her or just accept it as her gift and live there, it would be good to Baba ka ghar being put to good use!

Good Idea Sujata...Considering that Baba Ka Ghar has already been lucky for one orphan who was nurtured there and turned into a famous Nuero surgeon - it can be the home for other orphans too...And anyway now that the house has a factor of Mallika in it ( as she has gifted it to Ashu ) - it is better that AshNi do not live in that house...So an orphanage would be great...

Very well put, Kaks...that house influenced the life of one orphan and saw him evolve into a role model for people like him...maybe many more children will benefit from it...!

Yes Shaz...they are sitting on something with so much of potential...Ashu's past and his journey to the present is practically a show by itself...hope this Khushi track makes for a good beginning!
