Some people seem to be upset by Ekta Kapoor's maiden venture into Bhojpuri films. The posters of her film, Ham Bal Brahmachari Tu Kanya Kunwari, which she has co-produced along with writer-director, Mahesh Pandey, are allegedly being torn by certain vested interests. Says Ekta, "It started with the posters being torn down and defaced in Punjab but since the last few days, even the ones in Mumbai are being torn down. Mahesh is quite shaken about it and wants to know why only his film is being attacked." We would also like to know why. "There are certain jealous people in this world who would do anything to harm me," says the soap queen, and adds in her feisty style, "I want to check into the matter and have asked people to do some investigation." Ham Bal Brahmachari Tu Kanya Kunwari is releasing today in Mumbai with a premiere at Navrang, Andheri, today. Does that say anything?
