In a way I guess.. If the TRPs are less, the soap will be taken off air. That means no salary..

But most probably there is a contract signed for a period and the salary depends on that. Not the fluctuating TRPs except for the above said..

BTW, I think the questions are supposed to be asked in the helpdesk😛

I feel the popularity of the actor determines the salary. Gia got a rise in salary I feel its cause she is very popular. Even when the show was not doing well when she was there she still got that pay as she is well known.

There are other actors in the show and I don't think that their pay has risen even after getting high TRP. I feel it all depends on the popularity of a person.

Consider DABH its the top show on TV but the actors are not getting any higher pay cause of high TRP. I feel that popularity is most important.
