A million Dollar?.

I am just wondering if that kind of amount of money has an value in India because a $million is not a joke here even in the US.
How can suraj win a million dollars and his life didn't change even a bit?. he still rides on the same scooter, his shop didn't expand significantly, their home looks the same, he and his whole family dance the same.
did he donate the whole money to charity...am i missing an episode?
i understand that he is a simple man, but being simple and being poor is not the same.
at least there should be a little change...right.
or am i the only one who is seeing something wrong.

Further how do you say he is poor? I mean he has a big house, three sons of bhabo are working, heavy jewellery sets for ladies, they are not at all poor just down to earth people😃

Suraj has won 1 lakh Singapore dollars which translates to about 45 lakh rupees approx.Even if it is US$ it is only 55 lakh rupees .Out of this 30% will be taken away as tax.So what is left with him is not very substantial.Moreover the Rathis are not very poor.They have had a decent std of living and continue to have it .The money as stated by Bhabo is being kept aside for Chavvi's marriage ,Meena's Godhbharai and for future emergencies.

Exceptions they are but bhabo keeps them down before they fly too high😆
