PLEA TO STAR PLUS
1. These coming wednesday again TRP chart will be released. Whatever be the ratings please dont create pressure on 4 lions. I see so many bad shows with low TRP's running for years and years and their ratings keep fluctuating up and down. Sometimes in Top 10 or outside top 10 .But neither their channel nor the production house fears about closing down the show. these shows are
Parichay, Kya hua tera vaada, Kuch to log kahenge , Sapne suhane ladaapan ke, Mrs kaushik ki paanch bahuey, Rabb se sona ishq, , Pratigya, Pyar ka dard kuch meetha. ,( all most major shows on sahara one and SAB TV dont feature in TRP list) and many more are there.
CID in past have nevr been consistent in ratings but still sony keeps this show because they know a fanbase of the show is strong and exists even without ratings.Now its doing well because the channel kept their hopes alive on it.Not pull it down.
Moral of the story is- Knowing that those shows are not doing well, still those PH , zee, Colors, Sabtv, Sahara One they dont close the programmes. Even if a day comes when IPK has 1.2 rating i would still urge the channel to look at the examples i gave above.
Its not necessary to be allrounder always i guess. Star plus has been successful with diya bati, saathiya, ek hazaro, yeh rishta occupying top 5. These shows are doing well .so let them be contended and they should not be worried about IPK. so what if mahadev is doing well. Mahadev is another star Tv channel. So i urge the Star Tv people not to take TRP of IPKK into very serious consideration. Only star plus is the channel which has maximum Hit shows. If just 2-3 serials are doing bad in TRP. why to get insecure.? Why 100 % sucess required??I feel its absurd and too much of expectation.
Just imagine Zee. Sony, colors are struggling just with reality shows but they dont get insecure at all. and star plus which has 80% sucess ratio is worried for IPK..really its very bad Soch. Nobody gets 100% sucess . Star plus shud be contended with what they achieved.
2. Another issues.
Just checked the wedding promo of ek hazaro mey.. The channel have done awesome plan with the PH of EHMMBH. they are creating a special wedding episodes and inviting viewers for the special episode.
While IPKKND being a romantic serial a love story should have deserved a separate special wedding away from all tension tracks. When i watched EKHMMBH wedding promo inviting Viewers i was awestruck. I felt IPKKND deserved that because its a love story. and marriage is the ultimate step so it had to be a big one. Although the episode was emotional but what was weird is that more than the channel some ppl in IF and FB were requesting to watch that episode and not to miss it. while this should have been done by Star Plus officially .
Virat-mmanvi wedding is a special, separate evnt for star plus and i think some other stars will be invited too. Iam sorry it felt strange and little jealous too.😉
actually after watching todays episode , it seems shyam will be exposed by november first week.
Hope thats not any climax plan for star plus for IPKKND. Thats is why iam telling star plus please ignore TRP just for one serial.
Note: i have conveyed my concerns once to them but if anybody in India Forums have acess to star team then kindly do pass the message to them if possible .
and rajan singh is just managing Star UK. transmission. Not on creative decisions about how the show should run. The creative decisions are taken in india not UK as star plus is headquarted in mumbai. So we have to keep reminding Star Plus officials in India not to pressurise 4 lions.
