Why is it soo difficult for the writers of these soaps to understand a simple fact:
1. It is IMMORAL for a woman or a man to have an emotional relationship with 2 men or women of the same family
2. Women or men should NOT be treated as something that can passed on/given (in the name of sacrifice) like a toy to a zidhi child. Do their feelings/wishes/dreams not count? What gives anyone the right to decide that one person's feelings/wishes/dreams matter more than another person's?
Sugni does not wish to be with TVS. That's fine. She has absolute right to make that decision. But she/Adi/Purvi or anyone else does not have the right to tell TVS that he needs to start/resume his relationship with Reva because she is his wife, she has a right, she loves him. What about his rights/wishes/feelings? Why is Reva's happiness more important than TVS's?
If his marriage had been a happy one then this may be possible. He says his marriage was hell (lets not debate whether it was or not as we have not been shown it) but stuck to it for 8 years because he considered it his fate. He moved on when he and his family believed Reva was dead. He found love and happiness. He is now being asked to give up happiness for an unhappy life ' Would anyone do that?
There is no need for anyone to make a sacrifice here.
(i). Sugni needs to go away and start her life somewhere far away (her family has 20 lacs. I am sure they will not be grudge her a couple of lacs). In time she will heal and move on and perhaps meet someone she wishes to marry and spend the rest of her life with.
(ii). Adi and Amu need to meet and sort out their relationship and then move forward, either as a couple or go their separate ways
(iii). Leave TVS and Reva to sort out their marriage. Only they can make/save/break up their marriage.
Do you really think that marrying Adi, and flaunting their relationship in front of TVS will make him go back to Reva. If they really want to give his marriage a chance to survive then Sugni needs to go far away in the hope that over time he forgets her and reconciles with Reva. But if he still wants to divorce her then he needs to ensure that she gets right help and makes financial provisions for the rest of her life.
Adi Sugni fans want them together. I do not believe that people who are opposed to them are opposing the Jodi, just the circumstances under which they are coming together (see point 1 above). The only way out of this mess is for Sugni to move forward and after suitable interval bring Nadesh back as a different character (not Adi or linked to Adi in anyway) who Sugni meets and enters into a relationship. we may then see the magic/chemistry and enjoy it.
