Sharad Kelkar has a naturally forceful presence on celluloid and his dialogue delivery has force too . But in order to fit him into the role of Dr Ashutosh who is a man of restraint and self possessed Sharad Kelkar has become a pudding. Creatives and direction appreciate that force of character does not undermine restraint and being self possessed. Therfore let Kelkar be himsef. I have seen his other serials but believe me I did not know that Sharad had come into the role of Dr Ashutosh till somebody told me that this was the same Sharad Kelkar.. I thought he was a new face.
