Why Ashutosh?

A majority of those who voted in her poll 'A Day with Ashutosh' said their activities would fall under the censored category,

Wow, for a middle-aged man, this is quite an achievement. I mean the man does not even fit into the TV male lead prototype. He is not a rich, business tycoon. He does not have six pack abs. Even if he did, we wouldn't know since he does not take his shirt off at the drop of a hat. In fact, he does not take it off ever. He does not have the heroine palpitating every time he gets close to her. Nor does he sweep her into his arms at every opportunity, Most importantly, he does not grab her or shake her every time he gets close to her.

These are the kind of men who make female fans go hysterical. At least that has been my observation. So, what is it about Ashutosh that is such a turn on? Or is it that the audience for this show is vastly different from the regular audience and this one finds a thinking man more a turn on than a hot body?

Would love to know why you, or so many other women, find Ashutosh such a turn on?

Very nice post sujatha ji😛.. I love this character because he is very real n is like a normal human...he has his flaws..I guess thats the main reason we all can relate with him n understand him😳..

Ashu is different and more so we fans are different.every fan has said the below more than once:

-this is the only show they watch.

-they never watched any other show before.

-they are addicted to KTLK,SK & KK.

Ashu kills with looks.he doesnt have to do all those things you said, to please us.

Besides i strongly believe there are different forms of entertainment,everybody is entitled to get entertained in a fashion they prefer.OR should i say "One mans meat is another mans poison."

If there is an audience who prefers the jumping jet leads that's there wish and i respect that.

I prefer the "grounded" ashu and i respect my wish.

am sure you feel your Q remains unanswered. Dont. there are lots of Q's in love matters that would not have answers as straight as 1+1=2.

Preetal, I was merely making an observation...based on my limited understanding...and like I already said, maybe this show's fans are different from the rest...

I am not questioning anybody's right to like anything... this was no question paper...I was merely expecting honest responses on why you find the guy a turn on...finito!

As for finding my question unanswered, why would I ...you have answered for yourself...!

As far as his character traits are concerned i just love his honesty...decency...intelligence...professionalism...depth of his love n the excellence with which it is portrayed...his selfless nature...i can go on n on with all the praise.. 😉

i just love ashu the way he is😳...Am truely addicted to him...droool over him day in n day out...He has made me loose my heart n i just dont want to get it back 😉❤️...

Fathima...you find the man's nature and his character a turn-on more than any physical attributes...true...when a person appeals to you at a mental level, then the physical attributes cease to be of great significance...

But it doesn't hurt to have a good looking man play Ashu, does it 😉

I find Ashu a turn-on because a strong exterior with a vulnerable core always appeals to me...Ashu appears tough and harsh on the outside...and yet he is incredibly soft within...his ability to hurt himself in his effort to give happiness to others is borderline masochistic...and yet, he does not have this holier than thou attitude...he does not make grandiose statements,...he is just who he is...a man with no false pretenses...someone who does and says what he does because he believes in it...there is no artifice in him...which is something I love...

I personally love the fact that he is the antithesis of the heartthrob heroes...he stands tall among a set of men who appear vain and shallow in comparison...

And it does help that the man playing him in very good looking...he is all man...he does not look excessively groomed...that works big time for me...

So then, those were my reasons for finding Ashu a turn-on!

I think it is the persona o dr ashutosh that most people are fida over I think an intelligent , well educated, cultured guy is always a turn on rather than those macho men and it helps if he is gorgeously handsome to the boot also there is am aura to abrilliant man even in college the most brilliant guys always had girls drooling over them specially if the were attractive too

Dr Bavs...it is indeed the persona rather than just the looks...but interestingly, he does not possess the typical character traits either that these other popular heroes do...I mean he is not domineering, masterful etc...

Wonder what the age profile of this show's audience is like...maybe the answer lies there too!

Nearly similar poll U have already made in recent past Ma'am: "Why do you love Ashutosh" And I remember, in that poll, majority had answered: "Because he is Ashu..." 😊 This time you wish to know little further "Who is that Ashu" that has made the audience fall in love with him despite being himself only...

One of the possible answer lies in your post only: in the red highlighted lines...
I would rather ask, why KTLK is so popular when it isn't at all like other typical shows? Why niche ppl talk only about KTLK and why majority of us KTLKians acknowledge that this is the only show that they follow... I guess, the same class audience's classic tastes are accountable for Ashu's popularity.

As for myself, I like Ashutosh coz he confirms to the things that have been outlined in the blue highlighted paragraph above -- all the "Doesn't" parts.

I always had a thing for well read men. Knowledge and success is a big turn on(no wonder I always had a crush on men who were much elder to me. I identify with Nidhi// though I married a man who is elder to me by 4 years// . Ashutosh is a sophisticated and well behaved man, his eyes have a mischievous twinkle in his eyes and his deep and husky voice stirs the woman in me😳
