Balika Vadhu----The way the subject of child marriage is dealt with in this serial is exemplery. Not only has it not shied away from displaying the fact that it is a malaise which persists and exists in our society but more importantly that it can be rectified if there is a change in thinking and attitudes. Art reflects life and though we still have a long way to go this serial shows that change for the better is setting in and this soap has made its contribution towards that I am sure.
