I am going to sound like an old English language teacher when I say this and you guys have to endure it. 😛 I have been on this forum for one day... ONE DAY and I have understood one thing, you people have no sense at all of what the word 'bashing' means! I don't want to come out as rude, but I want to put it in a better manner like any good English teacher would, "Don't use words that you don't understand in a sentence and complicate both your life and mine." Yes, I have heard that and said so myself.
A basher is someone who engages in harsh, accusatory and threatening criticism and is out to hurt others' feelings.
What I see in this forum is two groups of people who love 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon' and the whole caste. I have seen a disctinct group gushing over the lead, Arnav and another stating their opinion in a very unaccusatory tone. They are pointing out the hamearsia in Arnav's character or other characters, not bashing or flaming them.
If they said, 'Arnav is an a**.' or maybe, 'they should stop the bucking serial because its crap!'... That would be bashing.
When you study literature and analyze someones character or state their importance in a story do you call it 'bashing'? You simply call it criticising.
I hope this is a English lesson well concieved. Please if you still don't understand and appreciate others' point of view, don't believe that you feel freedom should exist. There are no two groups. You guys are one, and I hope each one of you understand that in time.
