I agree and disagree with this post. I agree that she makes a mountain out of molehill and that she is obsessed with the fact that anandi has a married past. However , i really do believe that the shekhar family love her (as opposed to keeping her happy out of moral responsibility) and I do believe that in her own way, she does love shiv. Unfortunately, its a blind love that thinks that her way is the best way for shiv.She basically reminds me of a line i heard in TV show once, 'a good detective looks at clues and decides who the culprit is based on them, a bad detective decides who the culprit is and then looks for clues that suit that theory'...CM is a bad detective. ...
You are right Jiya, often parents think that what they do for the kids and think for them, is the best...They think that they know what is best for the kids at any given situation, which leads to a very big problem...Yeah, until the kids are small, this formula is perfectly fine...But as they grow up, they need some space to know what is good for themself and parents need to respect their decision and accept it, no matter what...! CM is such a character, where she blindly loves Shiv...But her love sometimes feels fake, when she doesn't try to understand Shiv...
