If he had, who would hv taken care of media then? Ashu & all others knew that no one can beat Rangnath in handling Administrations diplomatically and tactically. Rangu and Nidhi are equally qualified as doctors, but, He was much required outside OT then inside.
Dunno any other reason... for clinical aspects, I think it's once a doctor, always a doctor... One can't forget his skills as doctor if he joins Admin dept. MBBS itself is a very very tough course; ur hard work during this course, can't be easily forgotten.
BTW, Don't question Ashu's intelligence... unko achcha nahi lagta... offend ho jate hai... kal aapne dekha nahi...?? 😆😆😆😆😆😆

The politician threatened to ruin their entire careers if anything went wrong. That's a huge career and financial risk for a person who needs to support his family and is recently married. A blacklisted doctor by a politician has practically no future. Anyone would genuinely think a million times before saying anything in that situation. Nidhi had ashutosh and her baba to fall back on for support if anything happened, Rangnarh didn't :)

Since he's been an admin for a long time, not sure he wanted to take a risk and offer to assist when he has financial worries with biwi used to creature comforts of life...😆
