A lie is bad.
Vikram lied to society and to Sugni that he has no wife (albeit recently but the point is he knew it before marrying Sugni ). That is not correct.
Adi lied to his grandmother that Sugni is an orphan. That iis not correct.
Vikram made the lie worse by saying Sugni is from a good family (by traditional Indian standards) - even if it was said sarcastically - nevertheless he made Adi's lie even worse by adding this point. That is not correct.
Sadly as they come from the same stock it appears that Adi and Vikram will lie to get out of situations they are not comfortable with.
I don't know about Vikram - who as you all say is the strongest character - I believe you because if his lies don't work, he tries to get his gun to do his work for him! Pretty strong character i must say.
Well like i said I can't speak for Vikram but I certainly hope that Adi who appears to be the cooler of the two will get it into his head that lying will not solve the problem and that in fact it will make matters worse - as they say - to hide one lie you have to create a 1000 more lies.
So my advice to Adi - please be honest - tell your grandmother who Sugni really is - if your grandmother cannot accept - well you should try to conviince her - no matter how long it takes - and by the way, the gun is not the solution ok!! You are a good boy Adi - no matter what people say - i can see where you are coming from . YOu have made your decision to marry Sugni and you cannot back out now you must honour it. Sugni is a good girl (ignore the people who condemn her) and she is doing the right thing. I hope that she will be a good support to you and help you to understand that lying is not the way. Ihope that you, Adi, and Sugni will forge a good relationship and building soemthing that is pure - as they say a phoenix is born out of the ashes. Sugni has been buirnt badly and i hope that she becomes that phoenix
and i know i am going to be crucified for these words hahahhahah
