From yesterday's retelecasts, they have introduced a very neat new montage for Arjun, which is shown after each ad break as well.
It begins with a Swiss knife kind of multi-tool contraption, with ETF embossed on the side of the handle. Then the contraption starts opening up - first a pendrive, for Shree, then a hammer-cum- screwdriver for Chhotu, then a magnifying glass for Riya, then a open blade knife for Rathore, and finally a gun, coming out of the Swiss knife, for Arjun, with Samajhe ya samajhaoon? on the sound track.
The montage ends with a frame of all 5 faces in a slanted row on the right - Rathore first, nearest to the viewer, then Shree, then Riya, then Arjun and then Chhotu, and an announcement of the main 8 pm shows on weekends.
I liked the new montage a lot, as also the fact that it just might indicate that Star Plus is giving Arjun a somewhat higher profile than earlier. They have also restored the 8:30 am show on Saturdays, while retaining the 17:30 hours and 23:30 hour repeats.
I record the shows on the HDD of my DVD recorder and edit out the ads before watching it. It is MUCH better that way!
