Thanks for telling the story.That's indeed and interesting curse.I wish they show this story in dkdm too which i feel they won't as it's more on Lord Vishnu than Shiva.

Another interesting shraap is the shraap given to Parikshit in Mahabharat.

The curse given to Pandu, due to that the Pandavas were born from different fathers is also important in Mahabharat.

One of the boon was asked by Asura Rambh of not being killed by either humans or Gods or Asur. He then considered himself immortal and started freely roaming in the garden of Yaksh where he saw a female-buffalo and fell in love with her. To express his love, Rambh disguised in the form of a male-buffalo and copulated with the female buffalo. However, soon after that a real male buffalo discovered Rambh mating with the she-buffalo and killed him. It was due to Rambh's inflated ego that killed him, out of which he had not asked his death to be spared from the wrath of animals. Mahishasur was born to that female bffelow, whom Durgama killed in a war.

Minakshi...Wonderful post..the theories of boons and curses is indeed a deep study...
But apart from that,,.the most interesting boon that I had found was given to Jaidrat...the one which caused Abhimanyu's death...and the one which was given to Jaidutt's father...that anybody who kills his son would die a explosive death...the moment his head touches earth...and Krishna told Arjuna to make his head land in his own father's lap...and the owner of the boon himself became the victim of that boon...Bhagwan ki leela was so inexplicable!!!😳

One boon granted by Vishnuji to Bali after he takes 3 Lokas from him as Vaman, he has to become Bali's dwarpal in Patal Loka, then Lakshmiji gets him back after tying Rakhi to Bali.
