Aaj humhare pyaar ka imtehaan hai, she had declared...Will her love finally conquer all? She was steadfast in her belief that he will not let her down. Despite the serious allegation that rocked their world, she had faith in the man, his love. She was holding on to hope, that was the only thing left...She started the night confidently believing in him and their love...

She kept a vigil by the Agni, but the Agni finally extinguishes, her confidence takes a beating...Slowly reality sinks in....She remembered his words said in jest....Ek baar haath choda toh kabhi nahi pakdunga...but she said to herself he didn't mean it, he was joking...

Woh aayenge...

Arnavji aapko aana hoga...aapne humse waada kiya tha

Woh zaroor aayenge...

Woh aayenge na jiji...? Unhone humse waada kiya tha...

Agar woh nahi aaye toh hum kya karenge...hum kya karenge...

As the night wore on, she started questioning herself. She wanted a confirmation from her sister but she wasn't getting it. Slowly it turned into anger; she would question him why he kept her waiting and then the disbelief that this was indeed happening. He will let her down...Something she thought was unthinkable had just happened. He wasn't going to come. She was overcome by grief, shock and myriad of emotions...The path she traversed has been so fraught with trouble; she was unable to trust him. What began as hate had slowly turned into love and now an undeniable sense of dependency for both. They couldn't live without the other....

Trust was still not forthcoming for her. He had threatened to keep her with him and she never understood why. He never gave her reasons; never really expressed his love but she still loved him unconditionally. He wanted to consummate their marriage but she wasn't willing...Deep down there was distrust. Deep down she didn't know why they were in this marriage that wasn't witnessed by anyone but her DM. It was then he opened up, he said he loved her.

He went against everything he believed in just to see her smile. He was a changed man when he saw the agony he made her go thru, this time he wanted to bring her home with respect. As they were celebrating the various rasms, their love for each other blossomed and so did the trust. They became inseparable and he promised he would never leave her side, he couldn't live without her. She expressed her faith in him when she gave in that night - bharosa hai - aap par, aapke pyaar par...

But tonight after knowing the most devastating truth from his past, he wasn't there once again. She called him to confirm her own nerves right before the wedding & he said he would be there and he wouldn't make her wait... His family had shunned them but she knew he was a man of his words...he would never let her go, not this way....not silently....He would never be the one to hide from his responsibility....

A stunning performance by Sanaya....She was the perfect bride who had just been stood up.....The night belonged to her...šŸ‘

He on the other side was tormented by the FB's of her undying faith in him, the time he had stopped her from leaving, the time when he made her promise never to leave him...Today he was at crossroads.....He was the one who was torn, shocked beyond belief....He was overcome by unbelievable grief... Dadi's words ringing in his ears....She was the daughter of a woman he hated most of his adult life. The other woman was his wife's mother....What a bitter pill that must have been....

He goes into seclusion, remembers her words, she will slip like sand....hide where he will never be able to find her....shock slowly turns into anger.... He breaks the bench he is sitting on...Grief stricken....He was on the fence....What must be going thru his mind? Should he do the right thing? Should he fulfill his promise made to his wife or should he dwell on the past & hold on to it?

Grief Stricken and distraught...His dreams shattered...

They both had spent time discussing their parents who were now stars...He had asked her; would his mother be happy seeing him? She didn't answer that question way back then but she answered that question on Fri... she said to him they must be discussing how they must be happy they both found true love.

Will he remember that conversation? Will he fulfill his mom's wish of seeing her bahu make him happy? Will he make her his mom's bahu as he claimed in that very place he was now sitting? Will he finally give that letter to the rightful owner, his Khushi?

Khushi has always been the stronger one, he the softy at heart but with a tough exterior....Khushi despite having lost her parents, found a mother who nurtured her...But Arnav was left all alone with a grief stricken sis to take care of...Nobody to nurture the boy in him...Emotionally he has never overcome the grief of losing his mother, he never had the time....Neither has he learned to handle grief...Tonight that side of him was evident...He just lost it & couldn't think rationally...

Didn't care for the screaming or the breaking the bench with slipper clad feet...Such minutiae can make or break a scene...It made this scene a little too comical...A director needs to work on his strength and the picture below is his strength not the Bollywoody King Kong scream...

If he doesn't come, hum kya karenge? The spirited girl that she is, she will get up, brush off the dust & go look for him... From the FB's looked like he never intended to abandon her at the altar but just too devastated after listening to the truth & couldn't gather himself....Loved Akash, NK and Payal today...They were there for their family...

Khushi is the only one who knows his hideout....Will she bring the distraught Arnav home this time? Or will he rise to the occasion and overcome this like he took charge of his life 14 years ago and take his bride home to fight his demons together?Akash stood by his lady...that gave me hope...If a spineless Akash does it for his wife, Arnav singh raizada will find it in him to return to his love....The night hasn't ended, like Khushi I'm holding on to hope....He will make it up to her...What a true hero would do!

A trail of destruction left in the wake of Dadi's reveal of the past. Sadness and heartbreak engulfs the Guptas and Raizadas, the effect felt most on Arnav and Khushi.

Arnav continues to be torn by the past and his love for Khushi. Every time he has attempted to seek happiness, fate has cruelly snatched it away from him. He breaks down unable to battle the demons of the past and the the trust Khushi has on him/ the love they share.

If on Monday we got to witness Arnav's myraid of emotions, today we saw Khushi's. She stops Dadi from pouring water on the fire and says with absolute faith that Arnav will come as it is a test of their love.

Khushi a self made girl, who never seeks anybody else's support, who has always held the family together in times of chaos and distress - for the first time places absolute faith and trust in someone besides Devi Maiyya, trust on their love that Arnav will come to her, trust that he he will come for her.

When the fire goes off, the authority and unshakable belief that was there a few minutes ago changes into plea as she asks validation from Payal - validation on her faith that Arnav will come, hoping almost pleading Payal to concur with her.

Time passes and she sees disraught members around, reality sinks in and shakes her trust as to what will happen if Arnav does not come. Unable to even bear the thought of it she breaks down completely in her Payal's arms.

Gut wrenching episode. From authority to plea to realization and finally acceptance, Sanaya you rocked. šŸ‘ Our hearts cried for Khushi, to see the ever smiling, optimistic girl go through so much pain and heartbreak on the day of her wedding.

Dadi proved beyond a doubt she never cared about her grandkids, she waited until Arnav's wedding day to deliver a devastating blow to him, no remorse for the pain in his eyes nor could she fake some sympathy by comforting Anjali who stood in tears reliving that tragic day. Dadi truly has no room judging Garima given her actions!

Khushi, like any bride looked forward to what should've been the happiest day of her life but instead much like her first, her dreams were shattered again. Khushi showed the utmost faith in Arnav, believing he would not let her down it was a thought she couldn't fathom. Flashbacks rushing through her mind, both the good and the ones filled with insecurity which in the end proved to be too much for her. Poor Khushi left questioning her beliefs and needing reassurance from a sister who was left helpless not knowing what to tell Khushi who now worries what she'll do if he doesn't show up. Khushi can't imagine her live without him.

Khushi is not the only one whose dreams were shattered here though, so was Arnav's. Here is a guy who was ready to leave the past behind and begin a new chapter of his life with the girl he loves more than anything but fate had other things in store for him. For 14 years the FB of his mother's suicide haunted him and now he learns his mother in law played a role leading to his mother's death, he needed time to process the shock and let out the screams. He is a conflicted soul who grieves for a life that was cut too short, along with the promises and love he has for his wife for whom he cannot live without.

Payal continues to shine by returning to the fiesty character she once was before getting married. Payal took a stand not only for her mother but her sister as well, she refuses to be a part of a family that won't accept her sister. Payal stood as a rock for both Garima and Khushi, two women who needed her support now more than ever and she delivered. Hope Deepali doesn't leave!

Akash and NK, kudos to both for remaining sensible through such a difficult time. Akash not laying blame like his mother, he instead supported both sides much like NK who respectfully asked Manorama to back off and not say anything to hurt people who were already in enough pain.

Nani, what a stark contrast she is from Dadi. Nani too suffered the loss of a child that day, her daughter supposedly killed herself because of Garima and Malik's affair yet she doesn't spew venom and actually cares about the impact this news has on her grandson who was the happiest he's ever been.

I'm loving Garima and Shashi's scenes, he doesn't have any dialogues but actions truly speak louder than words. Shashi does not pass judgment on Garima, instead believes her innocence much like the rest of the Guptas. Another heartbreaking scene as the three look on to a shattered Khushi worrying how she will get through this, why she's being punished through no fault of hers.

This has to be one of the most heart wrenching episodes in the history of IPK but one that is worth watching just for the performances, especially Sanaya's!

Heart wrenching episode. Absolutely lovely in the display of the resolute trust that Khushi has in Arnie to the wavering of that trust and the doubts, the talks, said as a joke haunting and assailing her insecurities. The tapering of Khushi's trust from a firm absolute truth in her world, her Laad Governer's love for her, the determined affirmation to Payal that he is coming, the self doubt to shrugging off that doubt, to her needing affirmation from Payal that he will come to her breakdown ..agar woh nahi aaye to hum kya karenge-- Sanaya absolutely shined in every single frame. āļøāļø
I have never been able to watch Sanaya cry... like watching a puppy being kicked, the 4 weeks past the wedding six months ago were the same and today was the same. You rocked, Sanaya.
The episode just rocked with how it flowed through Khushi's hope, moving from shining bright with rebellion of Daadi Dictatorial declaration and declining to a fading light full of self doubt -- he will come but if he doesn't??? What will I do? The decline carried the whole episode, underlining every other character's feeling including Barun. At the risk of getting fleeced by the Barun Brigade, I have to say that the weakest link today was Barun's performance.-- not because it was bad. But because we have seen SO MUCH better from him.
Excessive drama is not really my cup of tea but if Khushi's breakdown was highlighted any less, I would have been very, very disappointed. A lot of Khushi' feeling have been glossed over through post first marriage twists. Today's episode shined bright in that department. I loved the flow of the episode, the way it was setup with Khushi's aftermath being the anchor and the effect and Arnie's Dilemma being the cause. Nicely done, Team!
As for the lovebirds, I have no words of my own. so I will have to steal some...šŸ˜›
Hum Intezaar karenge tera qayamat tak
Khuda kareke Qayamat ho aur tu aaye

na denge hum tujhe ilzaam bewafaai kaa
magar gilaa to karenge teri judaai kaa
tere khilaaf shikaayat ho, aur tu aaye

*******

Majboor yeh halat idhar bhi hai udhar bhi
tanhaai ki ek raat idhar bhi aur udhar bhi
Kehne ko to bahut kuch hai par kisse kahe hum
kab tak yunhi khamosh rahe aur sahe hum
Dil Kehta Hai Duniya Ki Har Ik Rasm Utha Den
Divaar Jo Ham Dono Men Hai, Aaj Giraa Den
Kyon Dil Men Sulagate Rahen, Logon Ko Bataa Den
Haan! Hamako Muhabbat Hai, Mohabbat Hai, Mohabbat Hai
!!!

Ab Dil Men Yahi Baat, Idhar Bhi Hai, Udhar Bhi
Humen Bharosa Hai...aap par...aapke pyaar par...

aiy ya ya! what an emotionally charged and draining episode. A roller coaster ride which doesn't seem to be ending and now I am totally nauseated. Hai re Nandkishore, Devi Mayya, Maula, Rabba, Socrates, Einstein - all powers to be, please humain baksh dau! aaj to hadh hi ho gai! This drama needs to end NOW. PRONTO. STAT!

I have very incoherent thoughts today, all over the place so bear with me. An episode that belonged to the entire team of IPK - if everyone was left reeling with some sort of effect, that means something good was done. It was too much gloom and doom, so much so that no one deserves having to sit through that but if you try to look at it objectively, it was nicely done on every level. Bringing back Karan G was the best decision that was ever made. NK, Only one with a brain and a heart to stay calm in a calamity and stay focused. I love him. Bas. I already called dibs on him this morning, so no bargaining or negotiating on this one. Nani - epitome of grace and a true mother - torn between the loss of her daughter and worried sick about her grandchildren, and still able to heed to the fact that she needs to be strong, for everyone else, she is the pillar, she is the foundation of the Raizadas - only people remaining at the disaster site, the Malik has long gone, vanished, disappeared once again abandoning her family. Khushi was right - kuch cheezain badli nahi jaa sakti. The whole supporting cast was outstanding today! every single one of them. I ignored Anjali.

SI and BS - aah.. what do I say to you. SI overshadowed everyone today and rightly so - today was her day, hands down. Every single scene was exceptional, what you showed in mere 20 mins today had a calorie-raising effect on me, I have already gone through half a bag of chips - so not fair! I didn't care much for the bench-breaking, honestly thought it was a little Over the top but the rest, BS nailed it, especially the falling, kneeling and crying at the end was convincing. But SI trumped everyone today. Bas. She is the reason I started to watch this show and she is the reason I continue to do so.

I am not going to analyze much of the episode except for a few things:

Khushi:
Belief/premise: Woh zaroor aayen gaye, humain poora vishwas hai. woh hum say bohat pyar kartay hain, apnay aap say zyada. woh humara vishwas kabhi nahi todain gaye.
aaj humaray pyar ka imtehaan hai.

Denial: nahi jiji - woh aa rahay hain, hum unka intezar karain gaye. woh aayen gaye, zaroor aayen gaye, unhon nay humse kaha
Pain: aap ko aana hoga Arnavji, aap nay humse vada kia hai
Bargaining: woh aayen ga na jiji? bas aik baar keh do woh aayen gaye
Acceptance: jiji - tumhain nahi lagta woh waapis aayen gaye?
Disbelief/conclusion: agar woh waapis nahi aaye to hum kiya karain gaye?

Highlight: When Khushi looked at Payal and then everyone, saw the pain but not the assurance and it hit her - maybe he isn't coming after all. Heart-breakingly brilliant!

Arnav:
The switch, back and forth between Arnav and ASR was convincingly done. You could see the struggle and the conflict between the 14 year old boy and the 28 year old man - both at different junctures of life but still lost.

Highlight: After the "humain bharosa hai aap per.." flashback, he gets up to leave but turns around, looks at something and stops. My guess - he was looking at the tree (missed opportunity here - tree should've been shown). Brilliantly done! him trying to walk away from the past but still can't.

I do want to touch upon something which has been nagging me for a while. I know I know everyone wants Arnav to show up and put Khushi out of her misery but for me, him showing up for right reasons is far more important than him just showing up. I said in yesterday's post, I want the love story to stay intact, the characters to stay intact, a defiant ASR and a resilient Khushi in love but for right reasons. The intimate scene of Friday was a high point in the story but I was wary of the premise and also the potential use of the scene in the future. Yesterday, Arnav's first FB was of that night but I didn't elaborate on it because I didn't want to jump the gun but between yesterday and today, the FB have been used in a way that the possible reasons for Arnav's return are really open to speculation and this was done deliberately. Both of them had certain flashbacks today:

Khushi:
Proposal - "will you marry me"
Wedding day - Anajli's words "thoda intezar aur"
Friday night - "Khushi - never leave me, I can't live without you"
Mehndi/godh bharai - waist grab and pull
haldi - cheek rub
Second Mehndi - "aik baar haath chod diya to phir nahi pakdoonga"

Arnav:
Wedding day - "samay say aa jaaiye ga, humain intezar nahi karwaiye ga"
Friday night - pointing to the stars, "tumhari maa, meri maa"
Friday night - forehead kiss
Friday night - "Khushi - never leave me, I can't live without you"
Haldi - " rait kit tarha aap kay haath say nikal jaayen gaye"
Friday night - "humain bharosa hai aap per, aap kay pyar per"
Dadi's words - "woh doosri aurat koi aur nahi, Garima hai"

From Khushi's flashbacks, it was evident that she thought about everything that he had done for her "bohat pyar kartay hain, apnay aap say zyada". All of her FBs are of all the "rasams" that he had done, for her, out of love. In her mind, she is waiting for him to come back only because he loves her and has promised her. She is holding onto his words that he can't live without her, so he will come. Her confidence and faith in him laced with insecurity and fear what if he indeed has let go of her hand, forever.

Arnav on the other hand is conflicted - love, obligation and loyalty to his mother. His FBs of Friday night are mixed with obligation, love and part guilt. His fear of losing Khushi is just as haunting as her fear of losing him, but the difference here is the obligation he might feel after the trust she put in him and let her guard down. I know majority thinks that he will only return for love but I tend to look at things a bit too objectively, for me life is a lot about "If/Else" statements. Just the fact that physical intimacy angle was introduced before the pheras was a deliberate move to show a conflicted Arnav and can't possibly be ignored. In my opinion there are three possible reasons for him to come back:

1. Love and love only. Nothing else matters. Too SKD-ish
2. Obligation - she crossed her boundaries for him, he can't desert her. He loves her but feels more obligated to keep his promise. He is not a Malik, he is a Raizada so need to keep his words or else he is no different than papa Malik.
3. Resentment/anger towards life, Garima and fate but still have the need to keep his promise.

I am not saying that he will or will not make the decision based on the above factors but the possibilities are there. Honestly anything other than reason#1 will put us back to square one and all the growth will be out of the window. Logically - it does not make sense but then logic rarely plays a role. The makers are too hell bent on the nafrat portion of the tagline although it has been overplayed and overdone. Every time a conflict arises or a disaster strikes, just can't have ASR go back to this mode and Khushi being a doormat, putting up with it every single time. This will not be love, but abuse. Sadly, the makers will always find a way to justify ASR and the fandom might agree but not for me. If tomorrow or whenever, his reason for coming back is anything other than love, I am done. I can only put up with so much.
Tomorrow might be the imtehaan for Arnav and Khushi's love but it is also the imtehaan for the makers. Don't fail.

Sari šŸ‘šŸ‘ Whattay fab post girl!

Arnav Singh Raizada is a man with a lot of emotional baggage. We knew that on the 6th of June 2011. A man who returns to his hometown to avenge the wrong done to him and his sister when they were younger and plays an eye for an eye, just a little bit more brutally. This is a man who despite trying a lot has never been able to forget that night and what came off it. I have said this many times, that night changed a lot for him. It did for everyone, but him the most. He took it upon himself to set everything right and take care and protect his sister. A sister who was older than him, yet more dependent on him and not able to nurture him. He grew up that night. Its a lot for a 14 year old to process and accept and with poor guidance around it didn't really help much. He just didn't want to be loved or love after that night because of the fear of losing the loved ones he still had with him. He withdrew into his shell and everyone around him just sort of accepted that and moved on. He was and is still hurting.

Had this been 6 months ago, I doubt he would've come back, His anger would've clouded his rationality and judgement. But, he is a changed man. He has been nurtured in Khushi's love and he will see both sides but mostly, that he is incomplete without her. He will come to the mandap. A little late, but he will be there.

I hope to be able to see more of his thought process and his reaction tomorrow and I am confident Barun won't disappoint.
From this point on, its more his struggle and torment, it hasn't ended just yet.

Khushi, a myriad of emotions displayed and so beautifully. Today was about her, she was the bride and what should've been the best day of her life was turning into a dark nightmare. Sanaya deserved most of the camera time today and she did not disappoint.

As heartbreaking and dark today's episode was, if this is what it means to go all out and really blow my mind with the execution creatives, I'll take it. Just take it down a notch with the darkness, you have a very expressive team of actors who sort of make you feel it all!
And fudge 2.4, the ones who have faith and want to stick around are still here. That is all that should matter.
And for those who can't deal with it, well, as ungrateful as that came out, well, he is right "dekhna hai to dekho".

Hello Sari and SG's!

Brilliant post Sari; very apt title as well. It is perfect for Khushi as well as for the viewers.

Gut wrenching episode today pulled together with good direction and brilliant performance by SARUN. Sanaya was the star todayāļøāļø; the episode was built around her today and she pulled off each scene perfectly. Barun has less screen time today and hopefully a continuation of his last scene today will bring him to the decision he makes and returns to the mandap.

Khushi continued to stand tall; dignity and grace personifiedšŸ‘šŸ¼; she stood rock solid by her mom and full of faith in her Arnavji. I loved how her reaction slowly moved from full confidence that Arnavji would come and assuring one and all that he could come, to slowly rethinking to herself if his "haath chod diya" dialogue holds any significance to finally begging for assurance from her Jiji that he will show up. Her pain, love, slowly breaking trust and fear excellently portrayed by Sanaya. I just wish she once mentioned that she understands this would come as a big shock for Arnav and that it would break him but she still believed that their love was strong enough and that he would come. Excellent use of FB's by both Arnav and Khushi. Both were in sync thinking about their fear of losing the other, Arnav's words on how he could not live without her and other happy romantic moments they shared. Poignant because Arnav did not once think of his mom or Di today. He just has FB's of his moments with Khushi and Dadi devil's taunting words. His "Khushi" while his tears flowed just showed that he was overwhelmed with the turn of events and fate's cruel blow to him again. The fact that he will return to the mandap albeit late will prove that he has finally put Khushi above everyone and everything else.

I felt for Khushi today because she did not deserve this on her wedding day. Arnav did everything to make her happy and give her a dream wedding, it was heart wrenching to see that despite his best intentions he was again the cause of her pain on the wedding day. Destiny has brought this upon them but he will restore her broken faith and will prove his love all over again. I think the CV's were justified in showing Arnav being conflicted, in taking a little time to process the information, to come to terms with this devastating truth. He has brooded over this for 14 years and is the very crux of his existence; it cannot be washed away in an instance, however strong his love for Khushi is. Plus this is a daily drama; they obviously cannot wrap up the highpoint of the story in a day. While we could all do without the un-necessary humiliation and tears, a month plus of build-up deserves atleast a week to reach its culmination. The whole purpose of this track is to show how Khushi truly heals him of his wounds and the darkness in his heart, how she helps him grow emotionally and move ahead in the true sense.

I loved Nani today; she was dignified enough to tell Garima that she has lost her daughter so may not have it in her to forgive her right away but if only Garima had confided in her earlier. Very mature reaction from a true matriarch. She was the only one who realized that this will destroy Chote; that it will have a huge impact on him and how will he deal with this blow😭😭. Absolutely loved NK for effectively shutting up Mami today, someone please pack her off to the ashram as well. Payal was excellent as the supportive sister and Akash did his bit well too.

Rumors of Barun quitting sent shock waves through the forum today. I for one had my doubts on that one but today I was grateful for Mishti's spoilers coz it really helped ease the mounting tension in the forum about Barun and the upcoming story.

EDIT:

You know i figured out why i got mad!

I got mad because Dadi came and talked on behalf of Arnav and Anjali....but Anjali stood there like this pathetic lump...Arnav needs time to think about it...anyone would but Anjali...she neither act's like a victim here nor like someone who has been affected by any of it. To add more fuel to the fire...Mami is talking all this crap unnecessarily where as Nani the woman who lost the daughter say's i dont know if i can forgive you or not...so there still is hope...Payal looks like the forest from the lord of the rings spat her out and threw a gold mine on it and Akash may as well be a dhobi ka doggie...na ghar ka ghat ka. This is between Arnav and Khushi...actually this has nothing to do with Arnav and Khuhsi realistically Dadi is making it about them completely unnecessarily...on rewatching everything once again his anger for Dadi is out the roof...the name Khushi brings pain to him because love causes pain...because like she cries at the mandap he cries on the bench. Their Rabba ve worked today...because his heart accepted Khushi because Khushi is his need...for stability, prosperity and sanity. He will come not for obligation but for his Khushi...It took him 14 long years to break it all and walk away from his past...Love wont let him fall back in that black hole...Khushi wont let him...his father broke his mother's trust...he wont break Khushi's. Bas Arnav ki aane ki deri hai...Doli uthne ki deri hai...Bas...

Sari your take always makes me feel better...he will come...he is a hero afterall...aayega...pakka! Now though watching Khushi break my patience is running low and thin...let's move on already! 😃

Iss Pyaar Ko Main Kya Naam Doon?

I've pondered over what to say today not because of the episode but over what has been projected on my screen for the last 15 months.

Love out of Hate and Hate out of Love is a fabulous idea in theory but practically speaking in terms of a television soap that too on Indian TV to have to live upto a name of this sort is very difficult since the audience appreciates you to pieces wants more of the same. Yes love conquers it all but in that hate and torture the hope of love prolongues and the audiences in the hope of 2 young love birds becoming one...one day suffer heartbreak in more than one way on more than one occassion. Today it was just an emotional mess for everyone involved...the makers, the actors, the viewers and the Us...I want to write about it but it's an emotional roller coaster I dont want to because hope and love is what i hold on to. Happy day's will come...her knight in shining armor will come...some day...one day...today...now...This day needs to come soon on the show! Shaadi NOW...baki barbaadi later! Enough tabahi for now! Bas Kehdiya!

Shaadi ke baad tabahi machao ab inki shaadi karwa do because even though everything seems to be coming together beautifully the story continues to churn a mess out. LM brings his flare and compassion to the story but the story needs to be as passionate as the people who work to deliver it to the audience. I dont like this other woman being Khushi's aunt but I went on with it for a few days now I can no longer take this abuse on the poor characters.

The actors have been phenomenal! Sanaya Irani take a bow today today was you all the way. What poise and what fabulous work. I cannot write any more for her because words are not enough tonight. Happy to sad to defending her mother honor to denial to acceptance to a mature yet child like Khushi all in a matter of minutes. Perfection! šŸ‘ Nani is the only one that feels Arnav's pain here all the others are just nasty relatives! Sobti boy Mumbai suits you better than Delhi...Just saying...šŸ˜‰

Everyone did well tonight but I was so not interested in any of this so i found some funnies along on the way.

-Arnav between leaving the house to getting into the garden/back yard of Shantivan/Front yard of Gupta House/Whereever stops for a shave. Yup thats what anyone who finds out this deep dark truth about their past does instantly after the revelation. Shave...šŸ¤”

-One shot fire extinguishing...one shot fire burning full 5 flames and all...instantly change in angle no fire...šŸ¤”šŸ¤”

-Shyam oh Shyam...Consoling wife but reminding her smirkingly where is Sale Sahib...Then Anjali jumps...OH EM GEEE Where is Chote??? I would think for a woman whose own marriage once broke would sympathize and have a heart about what was happening...instead the self pity and the crying has made this character a pile of poop for me. Aage bado...🐷

-Akash needs to start batoing medication to everyone...apparently they all take tablets for something sick or not...start pill popping a few more digenes here and there will help the reflux everyone has out there. 🄱

-Mami shes back in the negative. Bless NK's soul for shutting her up because i will drag her with that long Choti of hers and toss her on the next shuttle to the moon!

-Um where did that phsychotic Dadi from hell go after causing this random tabahi now? WHo knows...who cares...hopefully Delhi has enough ditches for her to fall in! šŸ¤“

I want their relationship to be solid as a rock and the pyaar ko naam dena changes from season to season. Friend, lover, companion, mother, daughter, sister, daughter in law, wife, caretaker, coworker, boss...and vice versa for him...defining the title is needed but execution and leading the story on with panache is a must. Hat's off to the team to deliver night after night...the count is upto # 11 now but they need to look beyond the past and deal with real world stories and situations and use their imagination more realistically to cater to everyone. Let Shyam have another affair be a druggie or something and let someone find him and try to kill him and ASR comes to save him. How about bring in some business rivalry in...Some old goon that his father owed money too...a little black mail...a little romance a little something of the other to just have fun with haan? The TRP's will continue like a whirpool a point up here a point down there because their competitors are using simple things and milking their lovable characters completely. Our Khushi and Arnav we love totally and we know everyone else loves em too...market them well and you will indeed reap the fruits of success like you did not too long ago.

Song of the evening...

A gut wretching story if there was one.. thats how I would describe today's episode. For a second put the differences we may have towards the probable direction the
story is taking aside, .. put aside the trp numbers, the costumes, makeup, everything aside.. and just take today's episode. It was one heck of a performance by the leads.. and the supporting cast did their bit too. Technically a perfect episode. And they need to be congratulated for that..for evoking the kind of emotions that they did in most of us.

Dadi is pleased to have destroyed a young innocent girl's life.. an eye for an eye.. and not a single Raizada present there, who had experienced the same pain a few years back when one of their own went through this humiliation.. of having her wedding day ruined, spoke against it.

Garima must have undergone through a period of hell, all those years back, when she came to know of Sr. Malik's duplicity. She would have been heartbroken and must felt anguished and guilty for being the cause for a family's ruin. But she met Shashi and they (the Guptas) gave back her dignity and respect and the two kids Payal and Khushi made her a woman again. And this unity in the family was clearly shown today when even Bua didn't accuse Garima but instead gave her the benefit of doubt. Thats what families do.. and the Gupta's came through with flying colors.

Sanaya's portrayal of a confused girl, who still believes that her love will come through and won't ditch her in her time of need was a perfect one. What a beautiful actress. Sanaya take a bow.. you rocked today. There were I am sure, many eyes which teared up with you and cried with you..

Barun's act was equally marvelous. A guy torn between the past and his future.. his love for his mom and that for his girl was excellently enacted. He had run to his mother's garden to find solace.

I hope tomorrow that he would remember the promises he made to Khushi in this very garden, and act on it. Khushi was always there for you Arnav, every single time she stood by you.. its time you came through for her. Do it for Khushi, do it for you love, do it for your future with her. Conquer the past with your love beside you.

For once, I would like to see love triumph and not evil like Dadi and Shyam.

It felt like a long day for all of us since this ride on the runaway train started yesterday and doesn't show any signs of slowing down.. .but in IPKKND time its actually just an hour or so since it all started.. We still have hope that Arnav will come to terms with the cards that he has been dealt with and act on it soon, before the day is out.

Today was totally Sanaya's day.. She rocked in each and every shot in today's episode.

Am not trying to emulate Vee, she comes with the best of the songs.. but today i had to post this song..for Khushi's feelings..

hum intezar karenge..

Res
Khushi is a survivor. She is a fighter and knows how to make the best of the worst of situations. Matter of fact, that is all she has done her enitre life, from the time she was orphaned at the tender age of eight. And she is self-reliant. Depends on no one else to do her work for her. Rather, she does the heavy lifting for others, often at great personal peril. Be it her adoptive parents, or her sister...or even a Buaji in acute need of an inhaler to mitigate an asthma attack, Khushi never leaves any stone unturned, if that means that her loved ones will get what they need/desire. Intensely loyal, and ridiculously soft-hearted, she is ever ready to do all she can to bring a smile on the faces of those around her. Unfazed by cruel stabs of fate, she fences on, expertly parrying all attacks, smile and spirit intact.
It is a testament to this very smile and spirit, to her selflessness, that today, despite the horrendous revelation, framed in the vilest of words, Nani and Anjali didn't just do an about turn and a Dadi-like walk off. They hung around at GH...hurting no doubt and grieving for the lives lost, but also at the turn of events that would perhaps necessitate Khushi and Payal no longer being a part of their family. Nani was a soul conflicted... hurting at the memory of her lost daughter, worrying for her damaged grandson and his ability to handle this pain, and knowing that it was Khushi who had made him happier than she had ever seen him. She knows the kind of girl Khushi is, has seen her time and time again take charge and comfort the wounded, cheer the morose, help the needy. Nani knows that the best thing that happened to her dear Chotte is Khushi.
Khushi...a girl with an almost eponymous name. Her battle today was not on behalf of anyone else...today she was fighting for her own self..her own happiness, for her own love. Which made it doubly hard for me not to cry. After years of living for others, taking care of them, providing for them...she has finally found a man who does things for her. Loves her for who she is not...just as she is...no change order required, thank you very much. It has been a bumpy road, but finally she has found her soul mate and she has given him her full faith and confidence. She believes in him and in her love...the strength and power of her belief makes her answer Dadi tenaciously, over and over..."woh aayenge...unhonne humse vaada kiya hai..." But alas...he is not to be seen anywhere...!!
😭😭😭😭
Tere vaade pe jiye hum, toh yeh jaan jhooth jana
Ke khushi se mar na jaate, agar aitbaar hota...
Not to be deterred by the doubtful, but kindly faces around her, she pushes on..."aapko aan a hoga Arnavji...aapne humse vaada kiya hai..." ..but memories insist on reminding her unfortunate words..."ek baar tumhara haath chodh diya toh phir nahin pakdunga..." and her iron-clad belief starts to waver...."Jiji tumhe nahin lagta ki voh vapas aayenge!!!..."...and just like that, her heart broke ...two hundred times worse than the way it did last Diwali night, when he had told her..."yeh sab mere liye koi mayne nahin rakhta..."..and alongside hers, mine did too. Cried for her and cried with her...
Yeh na thi hamari qismat, ke visaal-e-yaar hota..
Agar aur jeete rehte, yuhin intezaar hota...
Koi mere dil se pooche, tere teer neem-a-kash ko
Yeh khalish kahan se hoti, jo jigar ke paar hota...
Kahun kisse mein ki kya hai, shab-e-gham buri bala hai
Mujhe kya bura tha marna, agar ek baar hota...
Wonderfully scripted, acted and directed episodes. One of the very best. Proud to be a fan. Sanaya needs to be conferred with all the best acting awards in this season...if they don't then it will be ramanchi. Of the serious kind.
