i cant believe they hv even thot about euthanasia...one of the most controversial subjects...who can say how much is the maximum pain that one can bear...who can say a miraculous cure wont happen tmrw...
my most fav euthanasia track has been in doctors by erich segal...and there i learnt euthanasia is not a cure...it is not a relief...it is a beginning of another kind of unendurable pain...
there the character dr.seth who believed in relieving those in incurable pain himself suffered from schizophrenia...
to ask mohan to do it himself...to switch off the machines...to take out the mask...is inhuman in itself...for mohan...megha is not only his love...but she is his junoon and she is the reason he breathes...
megha may be relieved of her physical pain...but mohan will be subjected to a lifelong trauma...wat about the kids then...mohan can never be the normal person again who can gv love to anyone else...
but not only that...i was surprised to see the opposite effect of bunty story...that story was fabricated by mohan to help her help herself...to gv her strength to overcome her disability...but for mohan to watch the same megha pleading for death is like a hammerblow...
will delve more into that tmrw...
now the darga scene...i dunno wat to say...i am both disappointed and somewat satisfied too...disappointed because i always feel in darga sequence the CVs always miss out something...i cant say wat...but some chord always remain missing...maybe i am overreacting because darga scenes always hv a profound effect on me and i keep thinking something earth shattering will happen...
but yes always at the end of darga scenes...the characters emerge as more enlightened than before...
loved the statement "jo majboor kar de wo mohabbat nahi hoti"...how true...love can never be a majboori...it can only be a way to feel the ecstasy of life...
and as mohan said...love is nothing that is to be understood...it is just something that u hv to feel...
the seven steps of love...it gv me sheer satisfaction that they included their very first encounter in the mandir...for me love started that day that moment...
if we notice one thing then that day megha stopped mohan from pursuing koyal...koyal was taking mohan in the wrong direction...she wud gv him false proofs which ended in mohan publishing false report of amar...
which means that day megha stopped mohan from going the wrong way...mohan's wayward life was brought to a shape by megha and today mohan has proved himself as the most responsible person in every way...
the seventh step is death...only death can bring the lovers together in a way that noone can separate...but i always felt this may be cosmic truth...but as human beings we can only acknowledge that wat we get in our lifetime...
mohan saying that death will never come between them..."iss saathvi seedi ko paar kiye bina mohabbat meri hogi"...i thot this line was a masterpiece...
there may be many cosmic rules to attain the epitome of love...but dying like romeo juliet is never a way to reach there...
love can triumph only if lovers can unite in their lifetime on earth against all hurdles...
loved how mohan challenged the seventh step standing in darga itself...like challenging the almighty that he will make megha his own despite all conspiracies in heaven and earth...
wat to say except another classic episode...how i wish there were oscars for tv shows...
now about AB-indu scene...i guess AB is that kind of dad who loves his son in his own way...he has his own definition of wanting his son and for that he can go to any extent...
so mohan can leave his dad again once he returns the money which AB will never let him do...
AB needs to learn that by binding his son in chains he can never get mohan...any gud manager can conduct his business maybe even better than mohan...but for AB mohan is his heir to whom he wants to pass on his legacy...here he is wrong...his business, his money means little to mohan...instead of passing on legacy he needs to learn that he shud pass on his experience as a person...like they say "wen an old man dies a library is lost"...
a son can be enriched by the experiences of right and wrong, justice and injustice of his parent's life rather than material things like wealth and power...
indu's trust on her son that he can never forget megha is ridiculed by AB...i guess he is the believer of "wen hunger strikes love goes out the window"...it is true in general cases...but AB needs to know his own son...wen hunger will strike mohan will move mountains to bring food for megha...
