wasn't boxing match yash sought arpita forgiveness

i thought the whole boxing match scenario was that yash was desperately seeking arpita's forgiveness for what happened that magical nite with arti and him. arpita told him he did nothing wrong and he still apparently haven't forgiven himself or arti...so what was the big horay about the match if he still thinks the same...today telling arti he wants to hear nothing of that nite, it also seems that he has forgotten everything thing he said to arti about the relationship between the both of them...i thought that after the match yash would of at least felt that he and arti had a connection other than parents of their kids, but it seems that whatever we interpret the story to be it turns out to be the other way around...
