Okay, everyone is talking of the Abhimaan track. For the life of me, I can't understand how that is even an option.
Okay, let us assume that Ashu, under duress, is left with no option but to make use of Nidhi's hands to perform the surgery. The fact still remains she does it under his supervision. He is the brain behind saving the CM's brain even if the hands are Nidhi's. More importantly, I doubt if this can ever be made public knowledge given the sensitive political situation and the blatant violation of medical ethics. Ashu stands to lose his license for allowing a surgery to be performed by someone who is not qualified for the same!
Besides, even assuming that the surgery is successful and the CM's family are appreciative of Nidhi's talents, can this mean that Nidhi will get to perform more surgeries independently or otherwise? Won't she still need to qualify herself for the same? Wouldn't that mean a bare minimum of another four years of studying before she can begin to compete with Ashutosh? So, are we talking of a time leap of four years before the Abhimaan track?
I know logic is the first thing to fall on the wayside in the quest of TRPs. But I can't imagine the Abhimaan track without a leap. And I don't think a leap is coming!
