I dont know cant relate to Devi Maa giving curses like that...

She is known to be too kind to every one. Even her anger is for an act of kindness

for godness sake why does Mahadev of all people have to remind her of her being Jagat Maata!

just to make Mahadev look great they need not make Parvati so whisical-shes supposed to be kind hearted,rather than cursing everyone left right and center!

Yeah Narad said ab wo ganga ke sanrakshan main hai. Woudnt a mother be happy to hear that her lost child was with her sister?
