Raja Chaudhary could not wait for Star One to appoint a choreographer for him in Nach Baliye 2. A week before the channel got into the act, Raja hired a personal choreographer to put him through some dance steps.
Can't let down biwi
Says a source, "Raja knew he had to start before the others because his wife is a trained dancer. He did not want to let Shweta down."
Raja admitted that he started training at least a week before the official training began. "I called for Vipul, who is a choreographer I know. I started practising and then Star One offered their own professional Sagar. I don't want Shweta to lose."
Wedding dancer
Raja does not make any tall claims about his dancing abilities. "Why should I lie? I have danced only twice in my life before. Dono baar shaadi ka occasion tha."
Has Vipul's training helped? "Of course. Vipul helped me loosen up, so when Sagar took over it was easier," he says.
Raja and Shweta have been sweating it out for the high stakes. "I rehearse from 12m to 6 pm, while Shweta does her bit from 10 pm to 2 am after she gets done with the Kasautii... shoot. We aren't getting time to sleep these days," he laughs.
Pyaar mein paagal
But Nach Baliye 2 is about chemistry between the couple. Is this couple romantic? Says a source, "Shweta calls Raja 'jaanu' and 'baby', and he cuddles up to her at the first opportunity."
"I am sweating my a*** out. Shweta and I will give all the other contestants a run for their money. I've lost quite a bit of weight too," he says on a lighter note.
