Oh God, yes, these two need to talk, starting with why AShu dismissed Nidhi, CBs heart attack and Aditya's involvement in it, AShu's dark past, his childhood agonies and finally what their desires are, ambitions are, Ashu's fears with relationships, his need to have a blood relation, his need to relive his childhood through his own child, Nidhi's need to complete her education so she can have a secure future and can be open to explore any direction in her career, need for her financial independence, etc...
The can start showing this kind of conversation in bits and pieces and help them understand each other even better. CVs can create situations which will put Ashni in a reflective mood, like recreating some old incidence, or reading/ hearing something in the news or learning some lessons from a patient, or narrating the Raja-titli story together which can get them to recollect their earlier journey.
Maybe Sandeep Bagchi is brought in as an accident victim in very critical condition and Nidhi recognizes him. He then reveals Mallika's and Aditya's involvement with CBs heart attack and the house issue finally relieving Ashu of this guilt and he can at last pay Mallika for it and cut off all ties with her once and for all.
This reminds me of a couple of months after Nidhi's dismissal when everyone wanted her back at KGH and CVs kept pushing it off until after the Mallika track when finally they got her back to KGH. It was like they had their backs against the wall and had pushed themselves into a spot where bringing Nidhi back was the only way to move this story ahead. Once again they are postponing this Ashni heart to heart convo and soon they will realize that they have to show this to move the story forward. I really hope it happens soon enough.
