I would like to thank all of you for taking out so much time to read and comment on the previous thread... I did say that would be all but I was overwhelmed with the comments thus I decided to continue the story... I hope you all would enjoy and embrace it as you did with the previous thread...

A tear escaped Arnav's eyes... but before it could rolled further, a tiny pair of hands had wiped it off...
"Mamu... strong man nahi rote (Strong man doesn't cry...)... I love you Mamu..." Sanjana sweetly hugged Arnav and kissed his cheek...She sat by him and started pampering...
Anjali witness this... tears just flowed from her eyes... She quickly walked out of the room and broken down...
"Yeh kyu huva!!!! Kya bigara tha hamare chotte ne kisi ka... Yeh kaisi saza di hai aapne Devi Maiya..." Shaleen heard Anjali's cries... he rushed to her...
(Why this happened... what had my chotte done... why such punishment you wrote for him Devi Maiya...)
"Anjali... aap aise roo kyu rahi hai...(why are you crying like this Anjali)"? Concern had completely overshadow Shaleen's voice... that is one thing he can't bare.. Anjali crying...
Anjali hugged him tightly and broken down further... Shaleen tried to calm her down...
"Humse bilkul bardasht nahi hota... yeh kyu huva Shaleenji... Kiski nazar lag gayi hamare chotte aur Khushiji ki khushiyo ko..." Kyu hamesha kismat unko aise dard dheti hai...?
(I can't take it anymore... why this happened shaleenji.. Whose evil eye had snatched Arnav and Khushi's happiness... why fate always give them pain?)
Shaleen had his arms around her and slowly brought her to the living hall where everyone were engrossed in teasing the little Raizada Stars, Sanju and Aayal...
Anjali was still lost in her thoughts...
*Flashback*
Arnavji... aapna hamesha aise ramanchi kerte ho...(Arnavji.. you always cheat)
Arey Khushi... maine kab whatever chi kiya (Hey Khushi.. Why did I)?? Arnav questioned with a cheeky smile on his face...
Whatever chi nahi (Not whatever)... RAMANCHI... cheating...jaiye hum nahi baat kerte aapse... (go.. I don't want to talk to you) Khushi walked away in frustration...
Arnav just 😆 to himself... "Yeh larki mujhe ek din sach mein pagal kerdegi" (This girl will make me go mad one day) saying this he headed towards his SUV...
Khushiji...?? Aap pareshan kyu hai... (Why are you tensed)? Anjali asked with curiosity...
Nahi di... hum kaha pareshan hai.. hum kyu pareshan honge... (No di.. I'm not tensed.. why would I be) Khushi uttered in speed showing she is definitely tensed about something...
"Sachi Khushiji.. aap pareshan nahi...? Fir yeh itni saari jalebiya kyu...? Kisiki baraat mein jaa rahe hai hum aaj? (Ohh really Khushi you sure you are not tensed? Then why so many jalebis? Whose wedding are we attending today?) Anjali laughed at her own joke teasing her silly but cute SIL
Who was unaware of Khushi's jalebi making habit... it only comes when her head has some chemical disorder...
Khushi suddenly realised the amount of jalebi she has made after Anjali pointed out...
"Haye Devi Maiya!!!!!! Woh..hum... hmm.. Maaf keryega di.. Woh humein bohot bhook lagi hai aur Arnavji...😡" Khushi stopped half way... (Oh My God... Sorry Di.. its just that I'm really hungry and this Arnavji..)
😆 Khushiji... aapki shaadi ko ab 5 saal hogaye hai... fir bhi aapko har teej pe aise bhook lagti hai... aur aap aise hi pareshan hoti hai... (Khushi... it has been 5 years since you both are married... and on every Teej you feel hungry like this and tensed...) Anjali refreshed Khushi's memory about the incident of her every teej...
A sweet smile formed on Khushi's face... She remembered her re-marriage with Arnav... time couldn't be more beautiful than it had been since their marriage...
Kya kare di.. Arnavji har teej pe hamare saath aisa kerte hai.. Aaj bhi dekhye naa.. humko keh rahe tha woh raat ke 11 bhaje wapas aayenge... kyuke unki koi Japan wale logo ke saath meeting hai...(What can I do Di.. Every teej Arnavji does the same thing to me.. Look, even today he said he will be back after 11pm as he has meeting with some Japanese client...)
Unko hamari zara bhi fikar nahi hai... Hum toh bhook ke mare maar hi jayenge... (He doesn't care about me.. here I'm dying in hunger) Khushi hit her palm on her forehead sticky some jalebi dough along...
Anjali walked towards her and took a wet cloth in her hand... While wiping the dough from Khushi's forehead ..."Khushiji.. aap toh chotte ke mazak ko janti hai naa.. har saal woh aapse yeh baat kehte hai.. lekin har saal woh aap keliye vrat bhi rakhte hai aur ghar jaldi bhi aajate hai..." Aap dono saath mein pooja kerte ho aur vrat bhi kholte ho...fir bhi aap uski baaton se pareshan hojati hai..."(Khushi.. you know Arnav is just kidding.. every year he says the same thing to you... but every year he also fasts for you and come home early... both of you do the prayers together and break your fast together.. then why do you get tensed with it)
A shyly smile curved on Khushi's lips thinking how on every teej they both open their fast together...
Arnav doesn't believe in all these myths... but according to him if it is true.. he wouldn't want a long life without Khushi thus he would also fast for her long life... and he does it because he can't eat or drink seeing his wife hungry and thirsty...
Arnav Singh Raizada was now a very loving and caring person... not just towards his wife and family but even his employees were now treated well... he shouts and yell at no one...
"Aap fikar mat kerye... chotte waqt se aajayenge... Aap jake aaram kerye.. hum HP se kehke yeh jalebiya rakhwa dhete hai... Aapko vrat ke baad khani hogi naa.." (Don't worry he will be on time today... you have rest while I ask HP to keep the jalebis nicely... you will have it when you open your fast right..) Anjali teased Khushi while made Khushi even smile wider...
"Aap bohot achi ho Di...shukriya..." (you are really nice Di.. thank you) Khushi was really overwhelmed having Anjali in her life... She always made sure Khushi was happy and cheerful...
It was now 5pm and Arnav had wrap up work in AR... He had ordered all his employees to go back early as it is teej... those married men needed to be home early to break their wives' fast while those bachelors should go mandir to check out some single girls who would be thr fasting for a great husband... ASR's sense of humor was really good now...😆
ASR called home to check upon Khushi...
"Hi... Kaisi ho" (Hi.. How are you)? Arnav asked sweetly...
"Apna shayed theek se suna nahi tha subah... humein aapse baat nahi kerni..." (Looks like you didn't hear me out clearly in the morning.. I don't want to talk to you) Khushi replied teasing Arnav...
"Sochlo.. kya pata kal main rahu hi nahi baat kerne keliye...?" (Think about it.. who knows I might not be there tomorrow for you to talk to..) innocently Arnav spoke something that pierced Khushi's heart badly...
"Arnavji!!!!! Aap kyu aise baatein kerte hai.. aapko pata hai naa humein aise mazak bilkul pasand nahi..." (Arnavji!!! Why do you always have to say something like this... you know I hate such jokes) Khushi was now really angry...
"Okie okie... sorry... I was just kidding... Acha yeh batau did you make jalebis?"(Have you made jalebis?) Arnav knew how to calm his wife down now.. afterall it had been 4 years of their marriage...
"Haa banali.. aur aapke liye sugar free wala halwa bhi banaliya... aap jaldi aayenge naa?"(Yes and I made sugar free Halwa for you also.. you'll come early right..) Khushi asked hoping for a positive answer...
"Ermm.. nahi Khushi.. maine tumse subah bhi kaha tha I have an important meeting.. Acha anyways main rakhta hu.. (Ermm nope Khushi.. I told you in the morning I have an important meeting.. Anywayz I'm hanging up now) I love you... he paused remembering something and continued... DAMMIT!!!! 😆
"Khushi just smiled at that and replied him... hum bhi... (Me too)" she blushed as usual...
She didn't argue with him further about coming back early because she was well aware that on every teej he would call her just before he is leaving though he wouldn't confess it.. but she knew it... Afterall she doesn't need him to be face-to-face with him to know his heart feeling...
It was 8pm now... Arnav had called at 5.30pm but he still wasn't home... Anjali, Payal and Mami had done their pooja and broke their fast but Khushi was till waiting for Arnav to come home... He has never been late specially on teej... but what happened today...
She then thought that he might be serious about the meeting... She tried calling him but he didn't answer... She was now more annoyed...But she was feeling really restless... the fear of losing him suddenly was killing her... she was now much more worried...
'Let me call AR... she called his office and the office boy answered the call..."
"Namaste Khushi bhabi... Sahab toh kabke ghar keliye nikal chuke the... Kuch 6 bhaje honge... (Hello Bhabi, Boss left for home long back probably it was 6pm)" The office boy filled Khushi...
"Kya!!!!!!??? Lekin woh ab tak toh (What!!! But he hasn't..)...she wasn't able to complete her sentence...
She tried calling his number over 100 times but no response...
She ran to the mandir area in RM... everyone else was surprised by Khushi's action...
She lit the diya and constantly started praying for Arnav... All his words were ringing in his ears specially...
"Sochlo.. kya pata kal main rahu hi nahi baat kerne keliye...?"(Think about it... I might not be there tomorrow for you talk to..)
Khushi was trying to be positive but her heart was breaking into pieces... Devi Maiya... woh thik toh honge naa... Devi Maiya... hum unkeliye bohot pareshan ho rahe hai...(Devi Maiya he will be fine right... I'm really worried for him..)
Anjali and Nani quickly walked towards Khushi and asked what happened that she is so restless...
Just as she was about to answer... the house phone rang...
Payal answered... "Khushi.. tumhare liye phone hai..."(Khushi.. there is a call for you)
Khushi ran towards the phone as if there was no tomorrow... Everyone was shocked at her behaviour and was anxious to know what was going on...
Helllooo haaa hum Khushi... Khushii ... Arnav. .. Singh...(Hellooo.. Yaa its me.. Khushi... Arnav... Singh..)
Mam... ASR Ka bohot bura accident huva hai... humne unko ambulance se City hospital bhej diya hai... (Mam... ASR met with an accident and we have sent him to City hospital via ambulance) He is in a critical condition...
Accciiideeennn,...ttt... Khushi's knees gave up... she fell down drastically... tears just flowed down her eyes... She was stunned...
Aakash heard her stammering Accident... he quickly answered the phone and questioned the police officer who called...
Khushi was just numb... but she managed to look at the diya she lit for Arnav's safety infront of Devi Maiya...
she saw it blowing off... Her eyes widen in shock... She recalled his words... the police officer informing her about the accident...
Arnavji!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Khushi shouted and started crying hysterically...
Everyone gathered at the living hall... Payal tried to calm Khushi down while Nani and Mami were trying to handle Anjali...
Aakash had told everyone about Arnav's accident... NK and Shaleen quickly rushed to get the cars and got everyone heading towards City Hospital...
They all reached City Hospital... Doctor came out of the operation theater...
"Sorry... we tried our best... but he was very badly injured..."
Everyone felt like the earth had just slipped of their feet... Payal Nani Mamiji, Anjali everyone we shell shocked... Anjali had fainted hearing this whereby Mamiji had started crying crazily... The men were so broken but had to gather themselves to console the RM ladies...
In all these crying and veiling... NK realized Khushi was missing...
He voiced it out loudly grabbing everyone's attention... "Khushiji kaha hai...??"
Everyone started looking around and at each other... Payal was deadly worried now... They all knew Khushi can't even breath without Arnav... NK run toward the exit of the hospital to look for Khushi while Aakash started checking around in the hospital...
Khushi walked in the operation theater like a dead boy... Doctor's voice was ringing in her ears... and Arnav's dialogue saying who knows that might not be tomorrow... It felt like she was forcing to lift up her feet...
She saw Arnav's body... She walked towards him...
Khushi was in the operation theater sitting by Arnav's lifeless body... She wasn't crying... she was just numb... in disbelief... just staring away at him...at her soul...
The nurse was removing all the wires and machines from Arnav as he was no more...She didn't bug Khushi as she knew her being his wife and it was hard to accept ASR was no more...
Their marriage... the vows... their SR...the moments they shared together...
She suddenly recalled how once when she was almost lifeless Arnav had brought her back... He had told her about it during their romancing day after marriage...

She picked his hand and placed it by her heart... In hope that he will respond the same way as she did...
She patiently waited for his response... her eyes didn't once blinked as was to afraid to miss his movement...
Tears stream down her eyes and she closed her eyes as she felt the unbearable pain...
The nurse turned in disbelief as she heard Arnav coughing... She quickly placed the oxygen mask and run out of the operation theater shouting for the doctor... Outside everyone was surprised looking at the nurse and doctor rushing back to the hospital... Mami stopped the nurse and asked what happened...
"Khushiji ne miracle kerdiya...(Khushji had done miracle..) ASR has started breathing again.. Please excuse me.."
It felt like everyone's heart started beating again... Khushiji is inside the operation theater... Shaleen realised...
NK and Aakash came running back as they didn't manage to find Khushi anywhere... but there were amazed at their family member's expression...who were still cry but had joy on their face too...
Shaleen filled both up and they too shared tears of joy.. it was no less than a miracle...
Khushi was still stunned when she hear Arnav coughing...
She opened her eye...in shock...
*Back to present*
Khushi opened her eyes the same way but she was sitting in Arnav's cabin in AR... Her thoughts were disturbed by a knock on the door...
"Come in..."
Omg... Hy Chamkili...
"Hamara Naam Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada Hai!!!!!!"(My Name is Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada)
Khushi's toned completely scared Sim and Pam who had walked in the cabin earlier...
Khushi was not those chamkili type... she had changed completely... her hair was now straight as if iron... he clothes were simple salwar suit... She had glasses...
Khushi didn't like her frinch anymore as ASR isn't there to tuck them behind her ears... She didn't like wearing those salwar suit with pom pom... Because Arnav wasn't there to tease her about the pom pom... Khushi started wearing glasses as she wanted to hide the pain in her eyes from the world... Khushi was no more the cheerful crazy Khushi...
They have never seen Khushi like this.. though they knew her during her early days in Delhi.. they never thought she would behave like this... This is more like ASR attitude...
Khushi looked at the clock and it was 6pm... Its time for her to go home...
Without even listening to Sim and Pam, she left the cabin... it wasn't new for AR employees... but they all still had hope that someday Khushi will be the same old Khushi again...
Mohan droved Khushi home and now here she was in front of RM entrance...
All the family members were busy entertaining both Sanju and Aayal... She had a small smile curving her lips as she sees how NK was behaving like a kid with both the little stars of Raizada Parivaar...
Tears flow down her eyes when he gaze when to the picture on the wall... She makes sure no the miss the picture everytime she enters Raizada Mansion...It had been her routine for the past one year... it gave her hope to continue breathing...
