I was waiting for this FF to be updated and I absolutely loved it !! I have a funny feeling that Pritha's fiance may be Swayam ya phir Sharon will meet him in the wedding but that's for later, I guess !! Coming to the flashback scene, It's so cute to see how close Swayam and Sharon have become !! I love the way Swayam got mad when she didn't answer his calls !! That was just adorable !! But after being so close, I'm wondering what happened that Swayam left her...Do update soon !!

Mixed bag of emotions for Sharon there...the rewind into the past was so action packed...the budding attraction between two so-called friends brought out well...KriSha bond is so special...sad to see the present sharon cuming bac from nostalgia to realize that her luv is not with her after such a longstanding bond

Note: If you notice the character sketch, i changed all their ages to 27 from 25.. Well, actually i don't know why i wrote that they were in a relationship for 11 years. I didn't have the mood to change their relationship to 9 years or something so i just changed their ages. 😛 I'm mad i know. 😊 But you've gotta love me. 😃

Chapter 7:

Sharon was chilling in her house because it was a weekend. Okay, she had just woken up before 15 minutes, at 11:30 a.m. Her hair was so messy and tangled and she had applied cream on her face and cucumbers on her eyes. She had her eyes closed and she was listening to songs on her Ipod. She didn't even realize when Rey entered her room. He found Sharon resting on the chair and looked around for what he wanted without making noise. He found her laptop. He took it, since his had some problem. And if he asked Sharon, she would never give it, so he decided to take it without asking. Before leaving the room, he took out his mobile from his pocket and took a photo of Sharon. He tried to leave the room without disturbing her, but unfortunately he hit the Shelf which made Sharon get up. She saw Rey. "REY!! What the hell are you doing here? And why are you taking my laptop?" Sharon asked. "Well. I need it." Rey said. "Then use your own. Give it back to me." Sharon said, and managed to get it back from him. "Okay. You take the laptop, but look at this." Rey said, showing her the photo he had just taken of her. "Just Delete it. Now." Sharon said. "Are you crazy? Of course not. Infact I'm gonna send this to your boyfriend." Rey said, teasing Sharon. Obviously he wasn't going to send it to anyone. "Oh no you will you not! You are not going to send that to Swayam!" Sharon shouted. Rey looked at Sharon, with a confused expression on his face. "Swayam?? When did I say Swayam?? Sharuuu''." Rey said, and started teasing her. "Shut up Rey. It's not funny" Sharon said, but blushed anyway. "Oho! Look at how your blushing hearing his name? Couldn't you like someone else? Did you have to go for my best friend? He's a nut case." Rey said. "Shut up. He's not. He's Sweet." Sharon said, and tried to get hold of Rey's phone. But he held it up higher and started teasing her even more. "Swayam..Swayam'Swayam'." Rey said. Sharon jumped to get the phone but she couldn't. Rey just kept on teasing. "Sharon..Swayam'Sharon'Swayam'oh you initials are already SS. Sharon Shekawat!" Rey said. "REYANSH SINGHANIAA!! JUST STOP IT!!!" Sharon screamed, when the door of her room opened. "What's going on here?" the person asked. Hearing the familiar voice, both Sharon and Rey turned to look. It was Swayam standing there. Did he hear anything? "Oh. Hi dude!!" Rey said. Sharon remembered that her hair was messy and that she had applied cream on her face and she ran into the washroom. She had embarresed herself in front of Swayam. Aahh!! She wanted to die.

"What was that about?" Swayam asked. "What was what about?" Rey asked, casually. "I could hear you. You were chanting Sharon Swayam Sharon Swayam'what was that?" Swayam asked. "Nothing. Just teasing my little sister. Come on dude." Rey said, and they went to play video games. Rey couldn't help laughing at the thought that his sister, Sharon liked his best friend Swayam. Omg! "I have to tell this to Kria!!" he thought. "Oh! What am I saying? She'll already know. I'm gonna have to ask her asap." Rey said. "Why are you laughing?" Swayam asked, pausing the game. "You know something. Sharon told me she likes you." Rey said. "Ofcourse. She likes me as a best friend and I like her as a best friend too." Swayam said, looking at Rey. "No dude. She likes you,like more than a best friend like!" Rey said. "Just shut up and play the game. Don't talk things which are unreal." Swayam said, and concentrated on the game again. "Dude. She is mad." Rey said. "Na, she's sweet." Swayam said. Rey looked up at the ceiling. "Why am I stuck between mad people?" Rey asked himself. Swayam's phone rang. He answered. "Haan Maa, I'm coming. Yea, okay." Swayam said. "Rey I gotta go man! See you soon!" Swayam said, and they did their usual guy cool handshake thing and Swayam left. After sometime Sharon came into Rey's room and asked him where Swayam was. "He just left. So why didn't you tell me before that you liked him?" Rey asked. "Rey, shut up." Sharon said, and closed Rey's door and went to her room. After a while, Rey came in "I told him that you liked him." Rey said. "You did not!" Sharon said. "I did too. But he didn't believe it." Rey said. "Okay. Now get out." Sharon said, trying to hide her disappointment.

In the evening, Sharon decided to just enjoy the cool breeze by riding her bike which had dad got her for her 13^th birthday. She absolutely loved her bike. It was pink, her favorite colour. She would never let anyone touch it. She was always careful with her bike and there wasn't even a scratch on it. "Rey I'm going out for a ride. Bye." Sharon said. "Let me guess, you'll go to Swayam's street!" Rey said. "Nooo'!! What makes you think that?" Sharon asked, wondering how Rey actually knew what she was going to do. "Do whatever you want." Rey said, and went back inside.

Sharon took her bike and pedaled slowly enjoying the nature. She took a turn at the street where Swayam lived. She rode past his house to find him watering the plants in the garden. His house was huge. It almost looked like a palace. When she crossed his house, Swayam saw her and called out her name. "Sharon!! Hey!!" Swayam said. Sharon stopped riding and turned back. "Swayam? You live in this street?" Sharon asked, pretending that she didn't know where he lived. "Yea, but how come you're here?" Swayam asked. "Nothing much. I was bored so I decided to ride my bike." Sharon said. "Oh cool. Is it a new one?" Swayam asked. "No. My dad got it for me last year." Sharon said. "Wow. It looks like you bought it only now. It's so clean." Swayam said. "thanks." Sharon said. Swayam's mom came out to call him. "Swayam, are you done?" she asked, and went and stood next to him. "Oh,who is this beautiful girl you're talking to?" Swayam asked. Sharon smiled. "Mom, she's Rey's twin sister, Sharon." Swayam said. "Oh hi Sharon. Nice to meet you dear." His mom said. "Nice meeting you too, aunty." Sharon said. "Why don't you come in?" his mom asked. "No aunty, I'll leave. I'll come some other day." Sharon said. "No no. You have to come. Stay for sometime." His mom insisted. Sharon said she'd come another day but Swayam's mom didn't agree. She wanted Sharon to come in that moment. Finally Sharon agreed and they went in. When Sharon entered Swayam's house, she was awestruck. His house looked even better inside. It was simply beautiful. "sit down dear." His mom said. Sharon sat on the couch which was so soft that she wanted to sit there the whole day. "So what would you like to eat?" His mom asked. "Uh'Nothing aunty. Thanks." Sharon said. "No, I'll bring you something to eat. Both of you talk till then!" his mom said. Sharon really liked his mom. She was extremely sweet. She bought them snacks to eat. "So Sharon, what are you planning to do after school?" his mom asked. "Well, aunty I've always wanted to be a fashion designer. I love designing. So'We'll see." Sharon said. "Oh that's very nice. I'm sure you'll become a well known fashion designer." His mom said. "I hope so." Sharon said . They talked for sometime and then it was time for Sharon to leave. "Bye honey. Keep coming over here." His mom said. "Definitely aunty. You come home sometime too." Sharon said. "I will. Take care." His mom said. Swayam walked Sharon till the gate. She sat on her bike. "Bye shar!" Swayam said. "Bye!" Sharon said. "Hey wait! You know Rey told me that you like me more than a best friend or something and I couldn't help but laugh." Swayam said. "Um'well'actually I do. I really like you. More than a best friend." Sharon said. "What??? Shar?? You're joking!" Swayam said. "The truth is, I'm not joking Swayam. I really like you. And I liked you from the first time I saw you. Haven't you ever seen me more than a friend sway?" Sharon said. "Sharrr!!! No way'..I can never think of you as more than a friend. How can you say that??" Swayam asked. "Good to know Swayam. Good to know." Sharon said, and rode from there. She knew this was going to happen but she didn't know this would happen very soon. She has to avoid talking to Swayam.

Sharon sat on her bed. It was midnight. Only two more minutes till the clock strikes 12. She opened her laptop and started typing the email. She was hesitating at first, but then decided to send it.

To: Swayam Shekawat

Hi Swayam.. I really don't know whether you use this email id or not. But this is the only one I know apart from the business ones. I know it's been two years since the'..breakup. We haven't talked since then'but I wanted to be the first one to wish you on your birthday. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY big boy. Have fun like you always do. I really wish I could meet you and give you a gift like friends do, but sorry I can't pretend to be your friend after everything we've been through. You mean so much more to me, and I hope I did too, atleast for a little while. I know Rey and Kria have your number and that you talk to them often, but you didn't feel like contacting me? Talking to me? But I don't want to ask them for your number because I know that if you wanted to talk to me, you would have called. I wrote an email to the same id for your last birthday but I didn't get a reply from you so I'll just assume that you didn't read it. If you did see it and planned not to reply, I'll still assume that you didn't read it because it's much easier that way. Hoping you'd reply atleast this time.

She sent the email and closed the laptop almost immediately. All these years she was the one who wished him first. So she always wanted to be the first. She pulled on her blanket and tried to sleep. She lived alone, in her fully furnished apartment. Her family visited her often, and she visited them too.

He opened his laptop at 12 midnight. He answered all the other emails regarding work. Then he typed his old email id and password and prayed that it still worked. Luckily, it did. He opened it to see a new message. He rarely used this email id. He had created this one when he was 12 or something. The message was from HER. She never forgot. She always wished him first. He opened the mail and read it. The last three lines broke his heart. He did want to reply to her. He felt like talking to her all the time. But he was afraid. What if he hurts her again? She won't be able to take it. So he didn't reply to the mail. Instead of that, he took his phone and dialed her number.

Sharon was still not asleep. Suddenly her phone rang. She took her phone from the bedside table to see who was calling her at this time. It was an unknown number. She picked it up. "Hello?" she answered. "Sharon?" the caller said. Sharon was shocked. Was she dreaming or something? She had tears in her eyes, ready to fall out and roll down her cheeks any moment. With a trembling voice, she managed to reply. "Swayam??"
