CHAPTER TEN: REVELATION

She entered Aman's apartment. She was shown the guest room. It was a secluded room from the rest of the apartment and Aman showed her the landline having parallel connection with his bedroom.

Khushi: why do you need a landline? We live in the 21^st century..

Aman: if someone calls me in my mobile and I don't answer then it is diverted to my landline. When I am home I use my landline for coffee, pizza, guests, callers and everything. And yes you can call someone else also ' if required.

Khushi: and what about the parallel line?

Aman: You can call me by dialling 016.

Khushi: it will show paging. Right?

Aman: Yup. Take rest and call me if you need something.

She simply nodded and let Aman go.

"But Aman was reacting very coldly as if nothing has happened. He was a good friend of Armaan. Then?

Whatever, leave it. I need to do a much important work." Khushi thought and decided to call Lavanya.

Khushi found using some contacts asking about ASR's present secretary's number and called Lavanya.

Lav: hello AR Fashion Group

Khushi: Lavanya it's me Khushi.

Lav: Khushi?

Khushi: yes. I need to talk to you regarding something very important.

Lav: personal or regarding work?

Khushi: What do you think?

Lav: work.

Khushi: no, personal reasons.

Lav: ASR?

Lav: me? And eyeing ASR? Are you insane? Why am I asking you? You actually are. Else you would never think something cheap like this. He is more to me like a brother Khushi.

Khushi was astonished.

Lav: listen to me now. ASR is my boss. He is like my elder brother. Yes once upon a time I had feelings for him. But he never responded. In his life only one woman he loved and that is you. Lav: and one more thing. Yes I am in a live-in relation. But not with ASR but ASR's cousin NK.

Khushi: you and NK?

Lav: yes. Any more doubts?

Khushi was in a complete state of shock and disbelief.

Khushi was now able to join some pieces which were missing.

But what was Aman's motive?

She thought to ask Aman about this lie as soon as possible.

But she can't.

She had frozen on hearing something

SG: then, how dare you keep Khushi in your home?

A: Sanyukta aunty had thrown her out and she doesn't know anyone so I asked her to stay.

SG: really? But why are you lusting over a two-time used woman?

A: I told you papa. She is my friend and also Armaan's wife.

(Aman had started hating Sanyukta since he came to know about his origin. Sanyukta had also used SG for her own purpose and to him she was one of the bad women in his life he had ever come across and loved SG because SG had adopted him and gave him a proper respect in the society. SG legitimised his birth. Sanyukta had wanted to kill him and when it was not possible she left him in an orphanage. To him SG was his only mother and father.)

SG: but time has come. You made your life so. You are Sanyukta's son.

A: never say her name again. I hate her. She abandoned me.

SG: she is your mother Aman.

A: mother? Ha ha. She never was and never can be. She is not a woman.

SG: Aman.

A: hmm. Sorry papa for shouting at you. But I am not sorry for anything else.

SG: Aman. Stay away from Khushi. She herself is a witch and now she is making you ill about others.

A: no. I used to think such. But I too had realised my mistake. I had helped Armaan to come between Arnav and Khushi and now to rectify my mistake I tried to keep her from the real witch Sanyukta Sen. Khushi is not a witch but Sanyukta Sen herself is. And for her misdeeds we all are paying now. She was the reason for Arnav's mother death; she killed Nupur aunty and now her own son. Whoever doesn't support in her misdeeds she kills them and she only knew power and money.

SG: I would have supported you, had you not killed your half-brother. Why did you do Aman? My upbringing was never that bad. I forbade you to befriend Armaan. But you did. You went to London for your greed over other's property, but I couldn't stop you.

A: Yes, I am guilty of ruining a life of a girl like Khushi. But I want to resolve by sending her back to ASR. And please don't support Sanyukta Sen against your son papa.

SG: I don't want the same past to repeat again and again. I had suffered a lot for her and I didn't want the same thing happen to you. I had already ruined half of my life and had not Garima pitied me I would have destroyed myself completely and now don't want to ruin your life under her influence. But I couldn't. I failed beta. I failed. You made me fail. You finally proved to be Sanyukta's son only. Your mother was a murderer and you are too the same.

A: no papa. Believe me. I swear by your name, I didn't kill anyone. I had done many misdeeds but I could never kill anyone. If I was aware of that accident I would have been in the same car with him. I would not let him die like this. It was better had I died with Armaan rather getting accused by his own father.

SG: no beta no'I never said like this.

A: yes. You better deserve to see me dead instead of Armaan because I had always been the unwanted one for everyone. I will depart this life rather than taking other's life.

SG: Aman' ama'

The phone disconnected.

Khushi was in a state of complete shock and now everything was crystal clear to her.

Armaan always misguided her and created problems between her and others.

Arnav never told lies about Armaan

Lavanya knows something about Aman and Armaan

Aman is the killer of Armaan and not Arnav.

Aman made Payal marry Akash for Singhania property

Sanyukta Sen is a very bad woman and she influenced Armaan to do such works. She was the mastermind behind this.

Sanyukta Sen may be the reason for the Singhania-Malik enmity.

But what she should do now? Whom will she tell this truth? And whom will she tell the truth?? Arnav was the only answer that came in her mind.

Khushi felt so helpless and lonely now. She was crying bitterly realising that Arnav was everything to her.

She was such stupid that she misunderstood him in every possible way.

Her phone beeped.

She checked her phone.

A message from her office'

Sorry to inform but that model has declined FASHION FLORA'S offer. She will be the showstopper of ASR's show. She has not cancelled ASR's project.

Khushi felt relieved'

Should she talk with Anjali??

Khushi picked up the phone almost after ten rings'

Aman: hello'Khushi. What happened?

Aman's voice was not very normal. It seemed like as if he had cried.

"Why is he crying now? He is a criminal. But no criminal would cry. He is not the murderer of Armaan. Then who is it actually?" Khushi thought.

Khushi is right, Aman is not the murderer.

Now my dear readers who can be Armaan's murderer?

Khushi is very immature. First she has to grow up. She believed someone else's lie about Arnav without verifying the truth and now that the lies came out, she wants him back.

Arnav lied to Khushi once but seems to be in love with her all along.

Aman hates his mother but loves his father.

Shashi Gupta hates Khushi and blames Aman for Armaan's death.

La is living with NK.

What I'm not clear on,

Why would Sanyukta Sen play all these games with Khushi and Arnav's life? What did she want?

What is Shashi and Garima to Khushi?

I'm glad that Khushi has finally got to know the truth... She should go & talk to Arnav asap to avoid any further damage to their relationship. Acc. to me Mrs. Sen can be a murderer.
