tv la potaba rendu moonu vati parka try panen ,but enala mudiyala thambri...songs are ok (hearable )..about story ...thats somewhat shocking ...thats deals with how most of our MLA are created in every party...(thats a dark truth about our politics here )...danush tried his best level in his acting ,but what itching me the most is ,he must have build his body physically to do such roles ...not a gangster is leaned by any means ...apart from that his acting is good at some part and over in some other parts 😆...over all an average viewer will quote "not bad" (u can't expect this from orthodox family member's though )

Finally i am here .. I did not read prev reviews & opinions..so lemme give u my POV on the movie.

Frankly I like mafia, underworld genre of movies.. RGV movies, Coppola & Tarantino flicks i love..so U can see that I am not squeamish about blood bath or generally dark movies. 😆 Infact I like the way a person due to circumstances takes the dark path and a good director can show the pathos & decent of a human being who is sucked into abyss of all sins.

Selvaraghavan ...took me by surprise when I first saw his Kadhal Kondein ..It did show the dark side of pedophilia in an orphanage & the way the protagonist is scarred by the abuse & death he saw in child hood.

Pudupettai ( and Egmore area) was shown realistically IMO. Living in T.Nagar & R.A puram most of my life...I did hear from my friends and have witnessed such ruffians when I have gone in that area. Pudupettai is not considered a safe area in good families. This movie did attempt to show a slice of life realistically.

Dhanush...my only complain that he is too thin 😕 ...did show the person who by chance gets hooked into dark side in order to survive & slowly grows egoistic as his power grows. He turns literally into an animal .

The surprise package for me was sneha. It was very gutsy of her to take a prostitute's role . She was infact very popular & sought after in Tamil & Telugu then.

Sonia ( SR's fav and who acted in his every movue then..his muse 😆) I was never impressed..Other than looking pretty the lady could never act ... Her disgust at the hero & the way she avenges him at the end was very powerful.
