Having a Bollywood celebrity on their sets is always a high for the cast and crew of daily soaps. And if the celebrity in question is Kareena Kapoor, the interest level rises a notch higher.
The actress was on the TV show Punarvivaah to promote her upcoming flick, Heroine. And the person most excited about Bebo's visit was male lead of the show, Gurmeet Chaudhary (he plays Yash Scindia). On learning that the release ofHeroine, September 21, coincides with Kareena's birthday, Gurmeet wished her in advance — for the film's success and a fantastic birthday.
Gurmeet said, "I'm a huge fan of Kareena and I truly admire her. She is a complete actress. She shot a very interesting sequence, where she had to reprimand my character, Yash. But in person, she was extremely warm and down-to-earth. Shooting with her was a dream come true!" On the show, Kareena's character in the film, Mahi, will inaugurate an art exhibition in Bhopal, of which Yash is the events manager. When Mahi finds the preparations for her welcome inadequate, all hell breaks loose.
In the ongoing track of the show, Yash deeply regrets having consummated his marriage with second wife Aarti (Kratika Sengar) while he is still hopelessly in love with his deceased wife, Arpita. In order to redeem himself, Yash is seen punishing his body by joining a fight club and taking on mighty wrestlers, who injure him. Watch the drama unfold as Kareena makes an appearance on the show on September 20 at 10.30 pm on Zee TV.
