Vinit-Himani split

Word is out. The Vinit-Himani jodi, of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge fame, has allegedly split. Vinit was conspicuous by his absence during Himani's birthday celebrations on August 24. Both Himani and Vinit are currently on an 18-city US tour with Himesh Reshammiya.
The Himani-Vinit jodi which has become an integral and part of Himesh's concerts, seems to have fallen out during the US concerts.
According to members of the troupe, Vinit has stopped interacting with Himani. "They don't even talk to each other. Vinit sees himself as Himesh's protg and struts around accordingly," says a source from the US.
Himani remains tight-lipped about her splintered friendship with Vinit. But the hurt spills over when she says, "From now on I intend to focus completely on my music. My second film song for Dil Diya composed by Himeshji is playing on all the channels. I'd rather be known for my singing than for my partnership with any other singer."
"We brought in my birthday with a cake. Himeshji and everyone else from the troupe were present. Then I spent the whole day at the Universal Studios theme park in Orlando with my colleagues on the tour, Udita Goswami and Abhijeet Sawant. Although some of the rides scared the hell out of me I didn't miss a single ride."
