From which angle do they look and behave like a married couple? Have you ever seen two people arrogant , aggressive and abnormally stubborn to the extent that while one prefers to die rather than being saved by her husband and the husband calls her a custom-made toy bought for 40 lacs? Its like even they both were to be burnt alive , they will tell the petrol and fire to wait - Ruko, ruko - jaate jaate main apni Biwi/ apne Rishabh Kundra ko ye bol to doon that I will meet you again to hate you and bajaao you!
I mean, I actually shook my head at the two of them after watching today's episode. Itna arrogance? Itna attitude ? I mean , they are so bratty and beyond repair that I look like a saint in front of them ( hint -hint-hint to KKG and HJIG).
Picture this :
Rishabh saved Maddy's life and she is struggling like Basanti of Sholay - Chhod do mujhe? She is hopping like a ping pong ball in his arms aur lage haath 2-3 baby punches lagaake Rishabh ko dhakka bhi maar diyaa. Shukar hai ladkaa paani mein girke watershade lamp nahiin ban gaya.
Hopeless Biwi ka superhopeless patidev! Instead of checking if Maddy is fine or not , 30 seconds ka naino-mein-sapnaa khelkar boltaa hai- Jaa chudail, jaake doob ja uss paani mein. Jaa marr ja! Abe to jab mar rahi thi , kyun gaya use kood kood ke bachaane? 40 lakh mein ek aur toy khareed letaa.
Maddy thank-you bolne ki bajaaye , apni patidev ko hi bajaa daalti hai. Taang toot gayi hai lekin majaal hai ki wo help maange? No way! Attitude ki Mallika wants to walk on her own.
Biwi ko bachaane ke baad Rishabh ki aur bhi sanak gayi! Instead of tending to his wife , he is screaming at the guards on the other side of the door - road roller lekar aao lekin mujhe is chudail se bachaao!
Isshmart cookie Maddy! As soon as Rishabh goes furious at her ki Biwi Jaanu, tujhe poori duniya mein evening walk lenne ke liye koi aur jagah nahiin mili , she faints . See, so many advantages of doing it - Rishabh ke examination hall mein baithne se bacch gayi, aur seedha apne patidev ki baahon mein land kiya. Oh and the " What the ... What the...What the.." look on Rishabh's face when Maddy collapses with perfect landing is not to be missed.
Rishabh can be as villainous , hurtful and cranky as he wants but he does care about his jungli jaanwar wife. He is tender and kind when she is not awake to see it - Biwijaan ka bukhaar check kartaa hai, pulse pataa nahiin check kar raha tha ya uski naazuk kalaai ko nichod raha tha ( kinda confused by his grip on her ) , he actually took off her shoes very tenderly and massaged her feet. Its not in his nature to do so much for anyone , definitely not his sworn enemy and that too with such softness. But kiyaa na ussne Maddy ke liye? So, jaanwar se insaan banne ke chances zaraa bright hain.
Maddy was HOWLARIOUS! Once Rishabh massaged her feet and she came to her senses, aisi chhipkali ki tarah ucchhal ke baithi as though Rishabh uske upar Baygon Spray daal rahaa hai. Its so adorable , the way she pulls her feet under her sari.
Aur patidev ki himmat to bahot badh gayi hai, yaar. Abb to wo biwi ke upar se kapde utaar ke bhi phenkne lage hain. When Maddy throws off his blazer and goes for a dusty cockroach eaten blanket , Rishabh takes it off so aggressively , telling her ki agar Maddy ne kapde na utaare , to wo utaar degaa. Humph! Maddy ke liye ye waali dhamkee 100% guarantee waali hai -jab bhi Rishabh usske kapde utaarne ki dhamkee detaa hai , madam line pe bhaagi chali aati hain.
Heights of aggression? When you are locked up in a dark , dingy wet space with a threat of a short circuit hanging over your head - but all you want to do is fight with your husband over a 40 lakh agreement and he sneers at you and flirts with you calling you his khilonaa! * bang their heads on walls please*
Abb donno saath mein locked up hain aur romance ye donno kar nahiin sakte since they both are abnormal - to chalo! Ladhaaki ki jaaye! Aur itni ladhaai ki jaaye ki precap mein glucose ke biscuit khaane pad jaayein. Maddy is like a SUPERBRAT, man! Patidev ne 40 lakh waala khilona kehkar uski bajaa di to madam ko apnaa khoon bahaana , septic karwaana manzoor hai lekin unse bandage nahiin karwaayengi. But Rishabh bhi to isika pati hai. Seedhe seedhe taang haath mein nahiin di , toh zabardasti kheench li.
Sigh! I mean, can you actually believe the two of them? They are caught in a dangerous place , one is injured , one is disturbed -But! Ek doosre ki utaarne mein aur bajaane mein lage hue hain. Rishabh left no stone unturned to sunaao , bajaao Maddy and hurt her with his verbal attacks - and Maddy was no less than a ziddi chakla-belan wife - jitney alphabets 'Attitude' word mein nahiin hain, utnaa toh Maddy ne aaj Rishabh ko de diyaa.
When you see them fighting like cats and dogs today - you can only wonder ki iss janam mein inn donno ko kaun se waale angle se ek doosre se pyaar hogaa? 20 degrees? Ya poora 360 degrees?
Still, you had your share of moments that give you hope for these two hopeless wild cats.
1. Rishabh being tender and soft on Maddy when she was unconscious.
2. Maddy looking at Rishabh as he bandages her leg- when he was not looking at her at that point - her face was almost like -" Who is he?"
Cutest parts:
1. Maddy hopping and sitting up like a she frog covering her feet with her sari when she feels Rishabh's hands at her feet. It was cute.
2. Rishabh getting furious when Maddy doesn't answer his questions while changing her clothes - gussa toh itnaa aa raha tha ki waheen jaake Maddy ki bajaa detaa but its her awesome luck that she was changing her clothes.
3. Rishabh's new found obsession with Maddy's feet. Gusse mein tha but his wicked sense of humour and genuine care made it look adorable.
Point being that there is so much of angst , so much of history and so much animosity between Rishabh and Maddy that its turning into an unresolved pregnant passion. To an abnormal extent where even if they are dying , they will tell death to wait so that they can fight a little more. And when this hatred will crossover to constructive-destructive love , they will not even realize it. Its like turning into each-other's addiction. Even if they have to spend their lives fighting with each-other , its okay with them but living without each-other will be certain death to them.
Hatred and animosity keeps them together and gives them a reason to be at each-others' throats. The moment soft moments come in - Rishabh's care confusing Maddy , Maddy's hurt face that Rishabh saved her for 40lakhs , Maddy and Rishabh feeling a fleeting spark when she grabs his shoulder in pain - they go running back to their mortal combat mode. Hatred is Rishabala's fort of power - so love will have to work really hard to bring these super egos crashing down and pull them up to channelize this passion in love.
And if you don't believe me , answer one simple question. If you are on the door of death and there is no hope, will you be standing and fighting over insults and contracts with your better half? Welcome to Rishbala's twisted world.
P.S- After scene 1, the editing was smooth and thankfully editors and the CH didn't ruin rest of the episode. Next time, never give artists black clothes against a black dimly lit background - you will never get the shots right! Ye to basics hain meri jaan, bhool gaye?
