All it took was a single teardrop from his beloved Mirchi Madam's eyes to revive Mohan from the jaws of death-----it seemed as if God had imbibed a sudden adrenalin rush into Megha just so that she could save her Mohan , before succumbing to her injuries and passing out. Megan's desperation and desolation trying to save each other post accident gives us an insight into the true love and bonding of these soul mates, and shows how inextricably entwined their lives really are . Mohan's silent suffering and maybe even feelings of guilt (maybe even thinking that he and Megha should've worn helmets?) rendered him speechless and immobile , in the face of the doctor's growing concern over Megha's worsening condition-------all that registered with him was the fact that he finally needed to acknowledge the presence of a higher power to appeal and plead for his Megha's life. It was truly heart wrenching to see a tear stricken and bedraggled Mohan, bowing his head pleading for his Megha's life, " usse bacha lo"---- all it took was a tragic incident and three simple words to bring an unbelieving cynic down on his knees and convert him into a believer-----just as it took a mentally unbalanced DIL like Ridz to open Induji's eyes to Megha's goodness and appropriateness in Monu's life. All in all , an emotional and sad episode centering around Megha's worsening condition and her family's plight in the face of this tragedy.

On another tangent , it seemed to me that Megha's predicament was symbolic of our beloved show NBT , struggling for survival with the doctors (the NBT team ) trying to revive her with blood (our appeals and pleas to the channel and production house)and Mohan's final plea " Usse Bacha Lo" ringing in my ears------my plummeting emotions and weary fingers seem to be emulating my sadness at the news of our beloved show going off air. So, after much consideration , I have decided to remain positive and not let the depression get me down , instead I choose to look forward to the remaining episodes, by hoping to see Megha's miraculous recovery ( hey CVs pls use your artistic liberties here and damn the logic!) so that the Bhatnagars can look forward to well deserved happy days of peace, love, romance and celebrations !

Once again a brilliant post 👏👏👏
'Bacha lo ...please ...' tugged at heart strings ...was so Mohan Bhatnagar ...
Though cliched - yesterday's episode was soul crushing - hoping to see Mohan and Megha's love transcend all and the Bhatnagars' get to "happily forever" soon.

Am resigned too - sit back and enjoy what is left of the show - with malice towards none.

brilliant post!! i really loved the topic. the cynic, bindass mohan was remniscent of the many incidents where he refused to pray to God or acknowledge him (reasons best known to him) is now clearly shaken up to the power of the Almighty...!! lovely scene, lovely post

Tazeem,as usual, brilliant.!! Loved it...yes,Mohan is turning into a believer..Many times it happens like this, you know. When adversity strikes us,we tend to turn towards the Higher Power for support and help..
And then we become better equipped to face the adversity better. Finally we emerge out as stronger individuals.

tazneen :
my take on the epi, copy-pasted from another thread.
the episode was good, waise doesnt matter if it's bad even since the show itself is going off air soon. anywayz back to the epi, the opening scene was good. i mean, it WAS good. from megha's sudden " addrenaline rush" as tazneen put it in her review ( it may look weird, but it can happen ) to her stopping the cars ( gave me a deja vu of mohan's gunshot scene ) to her collapsing in mohan's arms ..both KA were fab in that scene.
and then the editing ruined it. the PH is so busy rushing and fast forwarding such a critical track before winding up the show that the cut-paste-cut work done actually stares us in the face. Kunal as usual delivered an ace with his " gone speechless in shock and grief " expressions. and yes, the way mohan's tears swelled up as nanhi approached him reminded me of a poem " Home They Brought Her Warrior Dead " that i read in school.
the last scene. THE Mohan Bhatnagar, who have been a cynic all his life and never bowed down to God, is today begging him to save the life of his Megha. the scene could have been much more powerful and strong enough to give us a sleepless night. but instead, it fell flat on it's face. i feel talking like Anu here - i failed to connect with mohan in that scene. the cry sounded more like his laugh in the Rashmi's engagement scene when he backed off from his confession ( thanx zandu for reminding me of the scene, i couldnt remember by myself when and where i heard the same sound last ). even the opening of the scene, where mohan was walking down the road, it looked like Kunal was practicing ramp-walk. only when a closer shot was taken, that i could recognise his stumbling walk with bare feet.
i dont know how others felt about this scene, but i'm quite dissapointed with it.
precap : sigh. another battle begins for meghan.
