Tragic end to Jagya ...

Yesterdays eepisode saw an tragic end to the character called "Jagya" and full n final birth of "Jagat"

Am not sure how I feel about Villainous!Jags. I truly believed he wasn't evil. I thought he was a twit, sure, but that his heart was in the right place at the end of the day. I never in my wildest dreams would have thought that he'd start plotting against the woman who saved his life and sacrificed all manner of things for him.

I felt sick during yesterday's episode thinking that I'd been feeling sorry for him in his rain bath/pneumonia period. I thought he had genuinely realised his mistakes (to some degree, at least) when in fact he was still as besharam and egoistic as ever. Instead of being grateful to Anandi for everything she's done for, he continued to treat her like a lesser specimen and protest that her maafi and undying devotion is his 'adhikar' no matter what he does. Disgusting.

I'm sad that Jagat has won out in the long conflict between Jagat and Jagdish. I still remember the Jagya who saved Anandi from goons, who was loyal to his beendhni as a child, who had some sense of right and wrong. At first I thought that the upcoming character change was unrealistic, but the more I think about it, the more it makes sense. Jag has always been driven by his ego, and his ego and suffering have now truly blinded him to sense and goodness. There's no turning back now; redemption, at least in the sense of being accepted by his family once more, is now impossible. RIP to the character of Jagdish...

I think cvs are a bit worried about the ratings with two important ladies leaving the show. An average serial Viewer would love to see more negativity in J. What next? May be a public barbecue or a stone throwing event on J that would sky rocket the ratings. People love to see negative characters burnt alive rather than their slow redemption.

They should not making Jagya a planning, plotting type villain. That is so not BV-like. Jagya turning real villain sounds like any other stupid serials where characters are turned negative for TRP sake.
