I just read through some of the old posts ( I have a lot of time on a happening Friday night it seems :P ) but seems like our forum here has spiralled a little out of control, so decided to bring this up again. I have been noticing a lot of people hurling abuses and demeaning members directly and getting personal on forum topic comments. I think everyone here is entitled to their own personal opinion or point of view regarding the show, characters or story track. No one is supposed to force their opinion on someone else and no one should bash someone personally for writing down what they feel about the show.

It is healthy to debate over views or have a dicussion and challenge the point of view, but attacking a member personally for their opinion is absolutely uncalled for and this is not just for me, but I saw lots of people abusing other members on topics too. At the end of the day, we must all just remember that this is a show and not reality and what we all do in our personal lives or whatever beliefs we may hold are ours alone and no one has a right to dismiss them.

As for comments about characters and the show, we all have our personal favorites and we all also have our own biases, but the forum is made for us to put that down to share with like minded people or just portray your thoughts. So let;s maintain that instead of name calling and abusing.

I apologize to anyone who may think my comments are offensive, but at the end of the day, I have every right to maintain my point of view, just like everyone else on the forum is, and I am happy to discuss differing opinions but no one should be attacking people personally or hurling abuses here. I try my best to keep my attacks for the characters and not any individual member of the show. I personally am not a fan of any single character on PR. I used to love ARMAN and used to love ARVI. However, CV's decided to butcher both in my opinion hence I keep my remarks strictly based on how I see CV;s portraying them, and not as a personal insult to any group of fans favoring one or the other. I think most people here believe in that too.

Let's all enjoy the show and the forum without it getting personal. PR is truly showing the worst of our favorite characters on the show, let it not show our worst as well. :) Sorry for being such a grandma, but I really hope we can all have our opinions debated and challenged but not with the most demeaning personal remarks.

Important thing to remember always is, this is fiction and the moolah is being made by CV's, EK and the actors. But we, here are fighting against each other for NOTHING. :P
