These are my thoughts on the episode of Yash's and Arti's confrontation.(updated on page 3 too)
We have sinned Yash says. What is original sin then? Should it not be that he got married? Original sin reminds me of a complex problem of the root cause of displacing blame! Yash forbid himself to touch Arti in any romantic or the way man desires her as a husband. You shall not eat from the forbidden fruit and Aman here is like the snake that put the apple infront of Yash according to him! But Yash has he forgotten that he too should take the blame for whatever transgression they had done.
But Arti is also correct in throwing it in his face that what happened is not a sin. They are married so it is her right to demand what she wants. A marriage is supposed to be 50/50 compromise, I feel. It should not stack heavily in one persons favour.
It almost felt like that Arti's underlying question was what about this child when she asked what is the reason behind this marriage then is. Yash answer that it should end was like an arrow to her heart, but she knows that she has to be stronger to fight her cause. She has been beaten enough by life.
Yash's last words that he does not love living reminded me that he has closed his heart to love! It seems he has closed his heart to all types of love not just romantic love. The love towards his children towards his parents just because of his obsessive nature to be a part of Arpita's world wherever she may inhabit, according to him!
It was heart breaking to watch him crumble and shout at the same time at Arti! I felt almost pain in my heart at some of the words he hurled at Arti.
It is a painful exercise Yash is carrying out! Not just boxing! Being hurt, then loving, then feeling disappointed, then feeling as if he has been duped by a master plan of Arti's doing!
He now wants to be reunited to Arpita by a death match of sorts while boxing! What guarantee does he have that he will be reunited with Arpita? This is the first time I'm seeing the male lead of a show not asking his gods to show him the way rather he is trying to connect with Arpita in the spiritual world himself or something like that I feel. The other question still holds: is he sure that Arpita is his soul mate and not Arti?
Why must the woman suffer asks Arti? Why must woman try to maintain the balance of the relationship asks Arti? These are the underlying questions which seemed to confront Arti and she ask as much from Shobha ! Her answer is as much as a riddle. It's like she is saying don't be the problem be the solution to the problem!
But a more pertinent question is the children asking why they are not seeing their dad. Has he forgotten about them? That answer to that question seems to be a hurt breaking resounding YES at the moment!
Vidhi and Pankaj expounded on the points of views of Yash and Arti and Bua landed in the middle of it. It seemed like teams are being formed for a greater battle that is about to come not far in the future!
EDIT: I do not want to think of the predicting the future of episodes to come but I too have a feeling that Arti's truth is about to come through her frustration. Maybe it is time she silenced everyone with her truth but things need to go to a high point for her to do it , I feel.
