@Angel- you know since our Aartiji is pregnant...doesn't that call for unpredictable mood swings? Can't wait when she starts going through those then we will all get our revenge on Yash 😛
I can't wait for Aarti and the kids to go back home...

@Maham: Loved every single word in that post, TSS! 🤗 🤗 🤗
I can't really say that I was part of the frustrated moments, but everything else gets a nod from me! The virtual hug paragraph and onwards...THAT is why I can't seem to get riled up about the episodes to the extent that some others out here do...I know that the Mittals have a vision that they're working towards and that they actually have the team and talent to truly execute that vision. My faith hasn't wavered yet and I can't call them out on anything because they're always planning ahead and tying in all those details as they go, which I think is absolutely amazing! This week especially has been FULL of throwbacks - but then again, it always seems like there are little throwbacks in every episode! Just the way the narrative flows, the way the characters' mannerisms have a certain consistency even as they are gradually changing in response to the situations they find themselves in - everything is incredibly cohesive, and that impresses me SO much.
I can't believe that some people out there are resolutely convinced that all the stuff that happened in the past month, culminating with this consummation flashback, was a TRP gimmick. How can a TRP gimmick be so elaborately planned and fit so seamlessly and sensibly within the larger narrative? I seriously wonder if they're watching the same show as we are...And if they are, then which lenses are they wearing? I guess the "look beyond the surface reading of the visuals" lens may be missing from their box of lenses.
Edit: I actually find it very amusing when I see so many people saying "We should have trusted the Mittals/CVs" after having ranted and grumbled and cursed about certain things earlier. I just think, "Yeah, I save myself so much stress by waiting things out." But I know not everyone functions that way...I'm probably the only one, actually.

Even i came running to this forum after all the negativity around. If we got thorough consummation scene also people would have been negative abt it if we get a normal simple one also we get the same effect so some section of viewers are always disappointed i guess. am happy to see all the sensible posts and articles out her which feel one with positivity . What the use of cribbing about everything all the time. its good to be critical but shouldnt be too vociferous too.

Just a quick drive by while my clothes are in the drawer...My goodness trying to read on a smartphone is very hard but DC is worth it 😉

@Angel: 😆 You're very welcome plus no need to apologize u didn't say anything wrong 😃

@Maham: Same here...I'm very happy that he went before finding out abt the pregnancy...Had it been after Aarti would not be able to able it...I think she would have gone into depression...that's why I used 2 like to stay away 4m spoilers and articles they are too misleading <_<

From your keypad to the Mittals ears, I really hope this is the last self destructive thing Yash is gonna do 😉 I can't wait for Aarti to let him have it and yes I'm w/ u regarding KK scenes not being on Monday cause our Yashbabu looks very dashing and like himself again so I say her appearance gonna be on Wednesday or Thursday *fingers crossed*

Honestly I don't know how anyone can doubt Mittals...they know what works and they stick to their plan...I love the unexpected twists they give us ❤️

The 200th episode what is it gonna be...Yash's love realization or AarYa confession in the rain...yes rain gotta play apart in the 200th also 😛

I feel CHEATED! The CON was GONE in the blink of an eye! WHY? I have hopes for a better CON when Yash finally accepts that he's in love with Aarti and that he also knows the truth about Aarti's past and embraces her and the baby with open arms.

On to today's episode:

- Vidhi-Paridhi - MEOW! OK so it wasn't a cat fight but it was a tense exchange between the two. Vidhi's curt response to Paridhi regarding her tiffin was so unlike Vidhi, but I really liked her for it. Paridhi was treating Vidhi like she was some servant and I'm glad Vidhi didn't agree to Paridhi's demand. She stood up for herself and told Paridhi off. She regrets it later, which is nice to see because that's Vidhi's nature - caring and concerned about everybody and even though she thought she spoke rudely to Paridhi, it was for Paridhi's own good (though Paridhi doesn't care).

- Aarti- Shobha- Shobha is always the sensible, calm, and wise mother but I was hoping Aarti would disregard Shobha's words and go be all JKR on Yash as she seemed at the beginning when she was fuming and enraged at Yash's treatment of her. But I guess Shobha was right to stop Aarti at that very moment.

- Aarti - Yash - Yashji loves his Aartiji for certain. That look he gave her when his head fell onto her lap, it was a look of love and apology. I felt he was trying to apologize for hurting her (even though on the outside he acts like he's the only one hurting, inside he knows he hurt her too). That was the best part of the episode for me when he looked at her in that way, before he pushed himself away.

- So "Halkat Jawani" comes on Monday. I just hope it's short and doesn't cut away from AarYa.
- What was the need to show us just a couple minutes of consummation today when they could have put it into yesterday's episode and it would have flowed nicely? I hope you're right Jyo and that there's something missing which we can only see from Yash's point of view. I just hope it's NOT ONLY the consummation that has Yash all hot and bothered but also of learning Prashant's truth from Sunita's message.
- Congratulations to Punar Vivah for 150 amazing episodes and for giving us the gift of AarYa!

@Jyo: Your serial experience is a calming effect that explains and irons out all the oddities of the episode. I loved your take

@Borna: Loved your take on the song "Abhi Abhi" and Yash's behavior.

@Priya: Just read your take now. I was at point's irritated also felt patient with Shobha's words. I guess she does not want Arti to jum into conclusions without the right facts. But I felt how long can she skirt the issue before it's too late!

@Kirthi: I love your response to Samana's post with a post that went to explain the full range of relationships and emotions projected in the episode.

@Maham: Loved your explanation on TRP gimmicks. I'm like what's a TRP when I started watching AB and this show now! And then found TRP is biased but my say in it does not affect the makers of the show or channel, I guess. Then again I'm happy that PV is gaining in TRP.

Really? It wasn't them? What was the use of doing this and what was the use of body doubles? I didn't think the Parineeta song fit in. I liked the song they used in Thursday's episode. Oh but was that GC who kissed the hand (that wasn't KS')? I thought it was from the scruff but now I can't be sure. But now that you mentioned it, the woman's hand didn't seem like KS'. Again, what was the need of this? I much preferred the playful hand-kiss from the JJSS dance.

Couldn't help but comment on the parts in bold! I agree with you Borna! Amazes me as to how viewers of the same show have such differing opinions. Yeah I know everyone's entitled to their own opinions but such widely differing ones? I read someone's comment yesterday *can't remember whose though* where she mentioned how PV is for mature audiences and not for those who enjoy watching shows that are downright superficial. All the intricacies would just fly over their heads! That's why I'm not a tad bit surprised that they only like PV when there are cute, light-hearted moments and not when it's going through some intense phase. They term it a 'drag' because they can't appreciate the little details that the writers are trying to put in. Well, it's a loss for them I guess because PV still has viewers who love it and can truly understand the complexity of the story. And about complaining, hehe well not that we expect any better a response from them. They would come around for sure though, only to leave later I guess. They would never stop complaining but well, who cares! 😛

I was telling one of my friends about the recent developments in PV today, which basically meant showing her a few of the recent episodes and their key moments...She watched most of the Yash-Aarti scenes from this week with me, and when we got to the end of the consummation scene, she said something along the lines of, "Their Holi thing was more intense than this!" And I agreed with her, because that was true, although that intensity had no connection to Yash and Aarti's story (the rain, intimacy, playfulness, and other elements were common threads, yes) and I started thinking that our lead actors are capable of burning our screens into ashes if they're given sequences that are less subtle in terms of romance, and the director/choreographer was well aware of the sparkling intensity that Gurmeet-Kratika had back as early as March...But I think the impact of subtle romance and less explicit scenes is just as lethal, honestly, if not more detrimental to our mental health. This entire journey of Yash-Aarti's is like a slow-burning flame...It takes time to build up, but it burns brightly and steadily. I think that's better than a flame that burns brightly for a moment and then dies out...
All that was a result of me reading a few posts earlier mentioning hopes of another consummation scenario (which I feel will happen, as an even more beautiful full-circle moment later on) as well as some other stuff I read about these episodes (and Friday's first few minutes in particular) being lame and lacking intensity or looking forced, etc.
Okay, I'm off to GC-KS/Yash-Aarti heaven now...Finally watching the last two episodes again, hours after I planned to! LOL, this is what happens when I live in the DC!
