Here is my reasoning regarding the track :
And finally you understand the depth of this track!
When we think about this situation, we wonder - is he angry enough to go to such lengths? Is his anger reasonable? Isn't it a little too soon? But we forget one element of the show, and that is, teenage!
When we are watching shows that portray fully grown adults as their characters, we see this kind of track as a funny one. Jealousy track! But do we realize? In our teenage life, when someone is jealous, it isn't cute, its dangerous. Maybe not everytime, but most of the time. I realized this when I was watching one of the Gumraah episodes. Our hormones work differently. We are affected faster and greater than at any other age!
KD isn't just jealous because she is dating a guy who got him framed. He is outraged, again hormones at work, that she is supporting the guy who is wrong in every way for her. KD saved her at the party, but what did she do? Walk away nevertheless? His reason might not seem justified because it is to the mind of teenagers that decides the right and wrong. The emotions that emerge are beyond explanation. The emotions are at their heights!
Kiya is the same. The difference is she feels acknowledged now! Jailtley approached no one but her for help, she thinks she has some importance, even she is somebody! We can easily resemble this with fame! You get little, you want more. Kiya got little acknowledged, and now she want to be like everybody else. She has tasted it, like it. And now she wants it. In such state of mind, she does what any other would do. Go for it. Commit. And that's exactly what she does! Accepts KD's friendship, companionship. She doesn't know if its good or bad. All she knows is it is worth her wait. It is what she wants.
Ofcourse KD's friendship is good, why would it be bad? She knows him enough to know that he is worth a new start. But the misunderstanding creates an illusionary image of each other. There is no explanation passed between the two. They each think the other knows the reality. KD has misunderstood Kiya.
What is the sad factor? The only thing that makes me sad is Kiya knew and understood KD better than KD understood her. She knew he was right, she knew he hadn't committed the crime, but he doesn't know her enough. And this isn't the first time! He thought she had slept with Kunal, and now again he thinks she is with Kunal. And when he will realize the truth behind this translucent glass, he will understand what he has lost.
Maybe he will lose her, maybe he will gain her. It all depends on what CVs do.
For me, this track was needed for KD and Kiya, knowing their personality and instantaneous feelings towards each other.
