I too laughed out a bit, but you shouldn't bring this topic up like this. Its bashing keeti. Her pronunciation is funny but she would feel bad if she read it and also her fans would feel offended by this post.

Well I am offended and I am sure, so would be Keerti. I don't like when non Indians make fun of Indians accent and pronunciation but here in this forum looks like we have no qualms or inhibitions about making fun of our own. Very disappointed. If you don't intend to hurt anyone then don't make such posts even for fun. What is so god damn funny about it ? Accent or pronounciation are not jokes .Words must be funny or you will be the one deemed to be ignorant and taken for an imbecile. Mimicking someone is rude and ignorant. And by the way if I have offended you by my remarks then I am not sorry at all for it is rightly deserved.

I rather find it cute. Its nice to see everyone doesnt sound the same. Also if you guys recall Sameer Soni calles tomatoes (timatar) in one of those episodes when he tells her that her cheeks turn red like tomatoes when she laugh within (mann hi mann muskurati ho tab tumhare gaal timatar ki tarah laal ho jate hain). So i think it makes it so unique to them. Besides we come from so many different states and have different ways of pronouncing things! I think we must be respectful of that fact!

Ask a Brit or an American to say 'Kalam', (hindi for pen) and see what comes out from their mouth. English is hyped in India it's not our mother tongue.

There is a joke ' the brits screwed my country for 200 yrs, I have the right to screw their language/mother tongue at least. I like it😉

Viewbie Note

Refrain 4rm making fun of actors/actresses accent ..
Its not allowed & would be considered as bashing ..
Found to be repeating the same would result in warning level increase..
