I am new to this forum and just started to catch up with this show. I have read some lovely comparisons. And many people from other forums also seem to be very active here that's what got my attention. But there is something that struck with me.

It is turning out to be a good on and quite different from the regular soaps. This show reminds me of Wuthering Heights. It's a love story which is kind of tragic and dark too.

The RK reminds me of Heathcliff. He loves only one woman and he could go to any extent to get he by his side. He never cared for the people he hurt in that process. RK too seems to be in that same mould. He is a man who can cause destruction in others life like Malliks, Bhatias his own mother too.

The lead Catherine she is similar to Madhubala she is an epitome of love. She loves Heathcliff in spite of all his shades of darkness. He even goes to extent of hurting her family members in the name of revenge. Is it not the same that RK is doing? Yes the love is yet to come in. Once that happens want to see what they will do to each other in the name of love.

It's just my view.

what makes this show more sensible to me is that the hate and misunderstanding has come before the love. that is not the way it works in most other shows where the leads who are supposedly madly in love to awful things to one another and dont know the first thing about trust. So this storyline is more sensible to me since hate can often turn in to love because hate is passionate feeling with lost of emotions invested in it. RK and Madhu dont understand one another yet but once the understanding starts to build they will have a different relationship and it doesnt have to happen right away it can take time.
