Arnav made an annoyed face and rolled to his side as he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Khushi, let me sleep." His eyes flew open as he heard giggling; he realized what he said. He looked over his shoulder and saw Nani and Anjali standing, with wide grins on their faces.

"Chotte, Amanji called saying your meeting has been postponed to 5pm."

Arnav sat up suddenly. "What? But I told Khushi we will go to her house at 5pm. Di.." He looked at his sister, worried.

Anjali laughed. "Relax Chotte. That's why we are here. We thought we will go to Khushiji's house now. It's okay if you want to sleep more. We just wanted to tell you that breakfast.." Before Anjali could finish, Arnav jumped up from the bed and ran to the bathroom, saying, "I will be down in ten minutes, Di." The bathroom door slammed shut and Anjali and Nani looked at each other, giggling.

Khushi applied kohl on her eyes and smiled, looking at her reflection in the mirror. She blushed, remembering how she and Arnav had spent almost all night talking on the phone. Suddenly there was a sound of screeching car tyres. Khushi ran to the window and smiled as she saw the Raizadas step out of a car. Her smile disappeared; where was Arnav? Did he not come?

"Titliya, they are here." Khushi exhaled and walked to the living room and found Buaji and Garima talking to Nani, Payal and Anjali. Akash and NK were sitting on the other side, talking to each other.

"He really wanted to come. But he had a hearing in the court today." Anjali was saying. Khushi was relieved that Shyam didn't come, but she was hugely disappointed that Arnav didn't come to the house.

Suddenly there was a strong gust of wind, which sent the papers stacked on the shelf flying all around. Khushi ran to the front door to close it. As she tried to close it, there was a hand on hers. She opened her eyes wide and then blushed, as she realized who it was. Arnav and Khushi looked at each other and smiled.

"Khushiji, are you just going to let Chotte stand at the door?" Their thoughts were interrupted as they heard Anjali's voice. They turned around to see wide smiles on everyone's faces. Arnav and Khushi walked into the room, after Khushi closed the door. Buaji stood up to walk to the kitchen and Khushi started to follow her.

"Khushi bitiya, come here." Nani called Khushi and moved aside in the sofa that she was sitting on. She smiled and walked towards Nani. Her eyes met Arnav's and she blushed.

"What Naniji, I don't think Khushiji wants to sit with you and Di." NK said with a smile. He looked at Akash and moved his head, indicating Khushi. They jumped up from the sofa that they were sitting on with Arnav and walked to Khushi. NK grabbed her arms and pushed her onto the sofa next to Arnav, screaming "Catch, Nannav." She lost her balance, her eyes opened wide and Arnav grabbed her as she fell on him. Everyone giggled, as Khushi landed on Arnav's lap. Khushi blushed and tried to jump up. Arnav tightened his hold on her arms and shook his head, with a naughty smirk on his face. He helped her sit down next to him.

Buaji walked in then and exclaimed, "Hai re Nanda Kishore." She turned to NK and playfully hit his arm. "Naughty boy." NK gulped and moved to the other side of Akash, scared. Akash raised his eyebrows wondering what had happened.

Khushi giggled, but suddenly her smile disappeared as she realized Arnav had grabbed her hand. She looked down at the hand and then at everyone else. No one had noticed them. She looked up at Arnav and shook her head. Arnav winked at her; her eyes opened wide.

While the shagun function was happening, Arnav received a phone call. Khushi watched him walk away, annoyed. He wants to get married, but even then he is busy with his work. She exhaled, worried. She nodded, as Nani asked her something. She took the tea cup from the table, smiling, but it accidentally slipped, spilling tea on her salwar.

"Khushi bitiya, are you alright?" Nani asked. Khushi smiled and said, "I will go change and come." She walked into her room and closed the door. She walked to the wardrobe to get a new dress, when she heard Arnav's voice outside in the corridor. Khushi had a naughty smile on her face, a twinkle in her eyes.

"What the.." was all Arnav said as he felt a hand pull him. Before he knew it, Arnav who had been talking on the phone in the corridor, was pulled into Khushi's bedroom. She quickly closed the door and pushed him against it. Arnav raised his eyebrows and looked at her, smiling. Khushi smiled, looking into his eyes. She burst into a wide smile before she stood up on her toes and leaned in close to him. She placed a kiss on his lips. He leaned forward and tilted his head slightly as he kissed her back. He put his arms around her waist and pulled her close. She parted her lips and their tongues explored the corners of their mouths. They pulled away, panting, a minute later. They looked into each other's eyes and smiled. Arnav pressed his forehead against Khushi's, their arms still around each other.

"Khushi?" Their thoughts were interrupted by Payal's voice. They turned around, with a horrified look on their face and saw Payal peeping in through the door. Her eyes shot wide open as she saw Arnav and Khushi, their arms around each other. Trying hard to control her laughter, Payal said, loudly, "Khushi, hmm.. still can't figure out what to wear? I'm sure Arnavji will like you in whatever you wear". Khushi heard giggles from the living room. "But it's fine, take your time. We will be outside." Payal giggled and closed the door. Khushi turned around to look at Arnav; their eyes met and they smiled.
