Hey everyone, am back after a spell with some of my thoughts on today's episode. I feel so rested now. Anyway, the opening scene where Krishna and Pratigya are in a room with Dadi and all having a family dinner is probably my second favorite. So sweet. Pratigya is waiting for Krish and Dadi to finish eating before she starts, and when Dadi can't eat Baba is there to feed her himself. He has such patience and so much love for her, and it shows in every dialogue he says. The same Baba that was so annoyed when Dadi wanted to feed him pudding is now feeding her instead from his own plate. Because he knows that choosing between him and SS was hard and in the end his love won her over. As it does everyone. I felt the connection between Krishna and GD in this scene so much, because of the way Krishna talked to her and then just took a little food and got her to eat it. You just felt like Krishna would have made the best dad if given the chance. Anyway, Dadi made the right choice as we all know. Kesar would never have done anything for Dadi without griping about it.
Which makes the Samar-Dadi scene even more intense. Samar innocently wants to hear a story from Dadi, and she is telling him so nicely because she knows the guy never gets to hear anything from his lame parents. Then of course Kesar has to butt in, not only does she have to forcefeed her own son but she needs to force him to avoid anything educational and above her capacity to teach. And if Samar wants to flip a coin, what is the big deal Kesar honey? Like grandfather, like grandson, right? Why wouldn't he talk to his amma like that when he sees it around him? Kesar forgets how impressionable children are at Samar's age. What they see and observe around them is what they believe to be right. And why wouldnt he be confused when she wasnt there when he was little anyway. Is it any different from Chinki's confusion because her own father is no longer there. They are too young to know any better about divisions, whether they are from disagreements or death. Why not just give him some room Kesar? Instead she has to hit him which of course Vakil Pratigya will not tolerate. At this point, I kind of agree with both of them. I know it sounds strange. I know Samar is biologically Kesar's son so she has the right to hit him. But at the same time, he wouldn't really have survived that house without Prats so she does have the right to interfere. And then Shakti has to step in to defend his wife, although the woman is wrong on many levels. First she has to force dessert down Samar's throat to make her think she is a good mom and compete with his deep-down real life mother. Now she has to cause another fight over some simple story her son wanted to hear because he simply gets bored with his two parents. This isn't the first time Samar has gotten tired of his mom and dad. Remember when he started doing pushups with Abhimanyu? The poor kid has no distraction in that house, except when the cousin comes to visit. Shakti's pushing Prats was obviously wrong, but the funny part is how he says that this isnt the court and she isn't a judge. That's good shakti, coming from someone who went to jail for killing his own wife and now decides this is the time to do the "right thing." did I mention he killed one of his unborn children? Wasnt' too long ago that he slapped good 'ol Kesar across her cheek too. Thank goodness Krishna stepped in when he did. That was my favorite part. Physically I think Shakti is stronger than Krishna, but the way he stood up to his brother he sounds fearless.
In Krishna and Prats' room when he suddenly gets "shocked" it was funny. I guess it was just not what I expected and funny how Prats just tests out his voltage level with a light bulb haha. I dont think that's the voltage he has in mind. When he gets the phone call from Abhimanyu, I think Prats is right to suspect Abs (too lazy to type tonight) but she forgets the phone is still on. This scene should have focused more on KP but oh well.
At the restaurant, when Abs is planting the bomb and watching everyone, I know he intended for it to go off. But instead he did something clever, he quit in the guise of being a true brother and now is trying to pass his own bomb off as someone else's so he can play the hero. He is trying to get Pratigya's guard down so he can destroy the whole clan more easily. Then he can repay the slap from Arushi and the insults from SS and Komal more completely. He knows as a former lawyer that noone could connect him to the bomb without a witness, and if he goes out and runs back in, apparently risking his own life to save his "Bhai" and the restaurant he will be in thick with Krishna, justifying his trust once more. I wouldn't trust anyone who invites me alone to an isolated place to apologize. Why not a tea stall with plenty of people? we all are thinking, Krishna listen to your wife please. Prats isn't always right, but most of the time her instincts are. not liking Abs' new haircut it's too short for my taste, but it's ok. His jeans look like the same ones he wore on the day he left the haveli with his mother. It looks like he has left his conscience behind too.
I was thinking to myself how he can do this, such an educated man, like Professor Saxena. But unlike the Professor, Abs has a dark side and we are seeing it day by day.
Star of the episode: Krishna Singh Thakur.

Thanks for the update. Abs has a dark side, hope it comes out in front of every one. What he is doing to Krishna is not right.
