Well, aloha my folks! Here I am again!
Writing ANOTHER One Shot -..- and not bothering to update any of my other ongoing writings -..-
Not study for my Chem test either; which is pretty bad. But hey, I had to write this.
So this is a sort of continuation from today's epi, fast forward it by or two or three more epi's, and you'll see what it is.
I am adamant that this OS remain an OS 😆
So, I will not be continuing this.
*Edited: So on a second thought, there will be a Part 2 to this OS. So now its a Two Shot 😆
Part 2 on Page 6!
[To Regress and To Progress]
He still couldn't seem to digest the fact that she had done it. That Khushi had brought back that bloody bas***d into this house.
The bas***d that was smiling away at his beloved, weak sister in full blow. It was all phony. Arnav knew for a fact that it was, so why wasn't anyone else noticing it as well?
Why wasn't Khushi noticing this?
How could she forget the man who had lusted after her? Who had pretended to be a bachelor and stayed in her home?
Arnav's fists clenched as he looked over the nauseating scene ahead of him. Nobody seemed to remember the allegations that had been plastered upon this man; no hint of animosity over even a doubt of his loyalty.
Why?
Khushi paced the entire length of their room multiple times to quel the heartache rising within her. Her husband refused to understand her point of view. Only seeing what he wanted to see.
What he thought was right.
She sank upon the bed with pain and helplessness emanating from her hazel eyes. What could she do? The one person who had been supporting her this far, had suddenly turned away. Leaving her all alone.
But wasn't this what he always did? Lead her on to believe that he would be there for her. Love her, cherish her. But in the end it all boiled down to this.
Blaming her. Misunderstanding her.
Khushi stood up abruptly, displacing her balance and falling upon the floor. She cried out in pain as she felt her ankle give away beneath her; throbbing as she hit the ground.
Pushing up the chudis of her lowers, she froze upon hearing the tinkle of her Amma's anklets. Anklets that he had clasped so lovingly; so tenderly.
Her eyes closed as she felt that touch upon her hurt foot; tears leaving them upon the feel of his fingers. It felt like he was here. With her.
But as her lenses snapped open; she knew that he wasn't.
Arnav was angry with her. And she knew that he had all reason to.
She'd brought back the man who'd betrayed his beloved Di and his entire family. The man who'd kidnapped him. The man who'd almost killed him.
Her fists clenched involuntarily at the last thought; a searing pain slicing up her chest. No! That would never happen!
She would die before it did.
The pain made its way from her heart to her head. Shards of a burning ache progressed to her temples, almost as if someone was stabbing her repeatedly.
Whimpering at the pain, she limped on her uninjured foot to Arnav's cabinet; searching for his First Aid kit that he kept so handy.
She tossed the painkillers into her mouth and looked around for a glass of water. The pain was almost blinding her now and Khushi couldn't locate the liquid.
The bitter taste of the tablets was causing an upleasant sensation in her body and she turned around to see an untouched glass of coffee beside Arnav's recliner.
She ran to it, her hurt ankle protesting the sudden action, and lifted the mug to her mouth. The liquid itself was extremely bitter, but it helped her down those tablets.
Something didn't feel right, she realized as she limped out of the room.
Khushi slowed down as she approached the stairs, an abrupt shortness of breath freezing her steps. She clutched at her chest as a searing pain erupted close to her heart and gasps left her.
Opening her eyes wider; she focused on regaining her footing as her vision got blurry.
She couldn't breathe.
The supply of oxygen that was allowing her body to function suddenly ran out. Losing her balance, she skidded upon the top step and lost all conciousness.
