I should be updating DKC right now, or rather studying for my tests tomorrow. But meh, I dont feel like it. 😆 So here I am, with a little drabble.

Arnav and Khushi - Bas Ek Pal - A Drabble

For MariahMohan whose sweet nature shines out of her daily comments. A big thank you.

Bas ek pal...

She hoped that time would freeze. Just stop. That the little hands of the clock moving montonously in the background would suddenly cease to function.

She wanted to treasure this moment.

His eyes were speaking to her again, formulating words his lips would never utter. They confided in her, conversed with her.

Loved her.

Her own eyes smiled back at him, relaying to him each promise he delivered without ever blinking. Eyelashes fluttered as their lips stretched into similar smiles.

Hers innocent, his disarming.

For minutes they stood in utter silence, basking in the glory their quiet surroundings provided. No part of their bodies came in contact, but their eyes.

Oh, their eyes.

A soft breeze fluttered through the musk scented air. It brought along with it promises, despair and a bundle of hope. The two remained oblivious, their lenses conversing quietly once again.

Unbeknownst to the world, uncaring of their enviorment; they talked and understood. They laughed and cried.

Merely with their eyes.

One agonized over the wrongs he had done, while the other only consoled him. He continued to despair over the falling of his life, his foundations. She stood strong, reminding him of the happy times that were yet to come.

Broken, one sought help from the other; their eyes ever connected.

Not a word spoken, not a gasp released.

Only their eyes. Arnav and Khushi. Khushi and Arnav.

Forever, their eyes.

Tere pyaar mein, aisey jeeye hum

Jalaa hai yeh dil, aakhen hui nam

Bas ek pal, Bas ek pal...

YOU WROTE SOMETHING FOR ME?!?!? I'm so humbled by this! Arnav and Khushi's eye sex moments are the best;) And you just penned it down so wonderfully!

Avi, I love you, your writing, and the way you have with words! It's amazing! It was like you took a three second scene from an episode and just added a whole new meaning and depth behind it. Only you could write something like this with eye contact as inspiration!
