"Arnav Bhiya" She stretched her arms to stop her brother from going away but he keep on moving

"You're my wife" She heard these words echoing around her

"Ar …. naav" As she takes his name, he turned back and smiled at her. He was smiling at her it could be only her dream

Her eyes opened and she stared the ceiling of the room. She felt thorns in her throat. She have to take water. She rolled on a bit and her eyes fell on him. All his words fresh in her head. He was sleeping peacefully like he has no worries of course why would he worry! Even if she would dead in fact he will be the happiest person on this earth at her death. Pushing aside her thoughts she tried to take glass from the table but it slipped from her hand and broken into pieces "like her own life" she thought. The noise just disturbed his sleep and seeing her awake he came to her

"Khushi are …. You ok" He forward his hands to hold her but she moved back

"Aa …. Aap jaaien yahan se" She was not looking at him

"Khushi main ….." She cut him

"PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE" She said loudly, It made him furious he wanted to reply something harsh but then his Di's words stopped him

"Please Khushi se kuch ghalat mat kehna" He silently came out from there leaving a crying Khushi behind

Khushi always thought her to be blessed having such a loving family. A father like Kinshuk, a sister like Anjali and brothers like Aakash, NK and ………….. There is an empty space now at the third place. It was always there but she was dumb and did not understand the reasons of him denying their brother-sister relationship. Today she has been shown her right place she was the one unwanted child which her father and her own blood relations refused to own. She felt herself to be the lone person on this earth. Nobody was there outside this room who wants her, the people whom love she always received as a righted claim, they were just bind by a promise and now when the truth is out, what they are going to do! Just throw off her from their lives. That is why she decided to end up her life but she was saved …..saved by her so called family but now when she is alone here, she can finish it here

No matter how much he hated Khushi, he never wanted her to suffer like this. She was living with them for past 16 years and he did not want her to be out of their lives like this by ending her life. He was thinking now how he can make Khushi and his family agree that she should go away from their lives. Her father Shashi Gupta was out of question because he once tried to convince him that he should take Khushi with him but he refused saying that he has his own family now and his other children to look after as he got married again by the consent of his parents. This was not in to knowledge of anyone.

"What should I do then?" He was so engrossed in his thoughts that he did not noticed nurse going inside the ICU and then coming out in no time

"Mr Raizada" She shook his shoulders and he came out of his thoughts

He looked at nurse confusingly and then in the ICU and it took him one second to understand all this

Shyam was asking Anjali about everything, and she told him everything from start till now, how Arnav disliked Khushi? How they get married? And that their marriage is legal and only divorce can finish it. That's it all he wanted to hear

"Divorce" He smirked

His evil mind has thought for it

He rushed to her and held her hand tightly which was holding the scissor and tried to calm her

"Khushi stop it, what are you doing?" but she continued her struggle and tried to push him back. She was crying badly

"Choriye humain, humain nahi rehna zinda, hum mar jana chahte hain …… choriye" He succeeded in taking scissor from her but she was still resisting

"Choriye humain, hum mar jana chahte hain" This was enough, he straightened her, he was not intending to do the next thing but it happened, suddenly her body stayed still and she was glaring at him shocked with her hands on the cheek

"STOP IT, kya prove kerna chahti ho that you are ……." Tears were rolling down her cheeks, she was dead shock ….. how could he slap her!

"Listen Khushi Singh Raiazada" This name before today was a proud for her, but now it was more like a burden ….. that she had entered in someone's life forcefully, "Tumhari wajah se ….. sirf tumhari wajah se mere aur Di ke beech itni doori aayi hai" He pointed and she was listening like dumb, "All I want from you is to sign the divorce papers and go away from our lives"

"Where shall I go" she wanted to ask but his stiff and cold face resisted her to ask anything

"Aur next time don't you dare try any of your stunts to grab family's attention" She closed her eyes in pain. How can he be such a stone, having no feelings even after living for the 16 years together

"Humain akela chor dijiye" He heard her saying it he opened his mouth to rant something when she cut off him, "Hum kuch nahi karenge" She was not looking at him now, he silently came out of there

Khushi has been discharged and she has been brought to the home though she don't want to go but then where else she can go! She has to think of it also because Arnav's words were still clear in her head

She was sitting on her bed. Anjali has just left the room to bring juice for her. She looked down at the floor it was clean now, she remembered that she had burnt all the gifts, so Anjali asked Hari Parkash to clean that. She sighed now she would also know about all these

"Khushi" She looked at the door hearing Aakash's voice

He smiled and entered in the room, sitting next to her he held her hand in to his. Tears started accumulating in her eyes

"Main tum se sirf yeh kehne aaya hoon ke kuch bhi ho jaaye ….. such kuch bhi ho but you are …. And you will always be my sister" He caressed her head and she cannot holding it hugged him

"I ….. I …… am ….. sor …… sorry …….Aa ……Aakash Bhai….." She apologized in between sobs and he caressing her head soothed her

"Ssshhh Khushi ….. it's ok …… now please smile ……" He cupped her face and she slightly smiled

Anjali who was seeing it through the door, wiped her tears and smiled

Anjali was sitting with her and chattering from past one hour but she neither smiled nor spoke any word. Her mind was stuck to the only memory when she get to know the truth.

'Khushi yeh ….." Anjali held her hand and handed her a paper, she looked at her in question

"Maa ka letter ….. Khushi main jaanti hoon such tumhain jis tarha pata chala uss se tumhain bohat dukh hua hai ….. Main tumhain yehi letter daine wali thi per chotte …." Khushi closed her eyes again a pair of cold eyes flashed and she opened her eyes

Anjali left the room leaving her to read the letter. She opened the folds of paper with trembling hands

"Khushi,

Main tumhain aik raaz batana chahti hoon, Tum …. Khushi main ne aur tumhaare Dad ne tumhain adopt kia tha, Main yeh such tumhain kabhi na batati per mere pass waqt nahi hai, aur jaane se pehle main tumhain khush daikhna chahti hoon iss liye main ne tumhari shaadi Arnav se karne ka faisla liya hai"

She paused, "Kyun Mama Aakash ya NK Bhai bhi toh ho sakte the …. Yehi kyun ….." She continued reading

"Tum yehi soch rahi ho na ke Aakash ya Nandkishore kyun nahi …. Manorma tumhain pasand nahi kerti iss liye tum kabhi khush na reh paati, Arnav abhi nadaan hai laikin waqt guzarne ke saath main jaanti hoon woh badal jaaye ga, aur mujhe yakeen hai tum donon bohat khush raho ge, Khushi isse meri request samjho kabhi iss rishte ko tootne mat daina agar tum ne kabhi bhi mujhe apni maa samjha hai toh iss rishte ko hamesha nibhana!

Tumhain behad pyaar kerne wali,

She was in a state of shock, what she should do now;

"All I want from you is to sign the divorce papers and go away from our lives" She could hear the echo of his words around, now what should I do? She leaned back to the headboard and after sometimes she reached a final decision, now she has to wait for him till the evening.

Arnav just came back home. He was in his room picking his clothes from closet when he heard a knock on the door, he turned and surprised, he was not expecting her to be in this room

"Tum" she was not meeting his gaza and as he noticed she was twisting and playing with her fingers, "Kuch kehna hai?" He asked

She just nodded her head and inhaling deep when she speaks it made him freeze at his place;

"Aap hum se shaadi kab kar sakte hain?"
