Not all Vipul's performances were good and especially when he sang old or slow songs he seem to sing slightly in a slow motion compared to the actual speed of the song. He also lacked the throw in some of his performances

Dev was great with all spiritual numbers but sounded his age in most bollywood fast numbers (lacking the masculine voice needed in those songs) If you close your eyes and listened, you could tell it was a teenager singing not an adult.

Amit was inconsistant in the beginning but his last month performances were very good and his "buland" voice was extraoridinary. Also, if I mistake not, Amit was the least trained guy in music, and for that alone, he did wonders.

If they had a back story, a singer must be more then that! I absolutley live Amit but he has one too, while my favorite My Chotta Sardar doesn't, he's just there to sing! To pursue his passion! No 'Im gareeb, or My dead fathers dream, or I left my house' nothing like that!

if we make those who have a story win then it should be who is the best struggler, itr is for the dsiuger who can do both playbacj and pop and i feel vipul is by far the best

seasoon 1: amit and abhijeet and rahul: rahul cld have won however it was abs similarity of sonu voice that it ddnt make it happen however both are now singnig- if we lookat amit: what is he donig?

season 2: sandeep achruya: won from rajastn gave his sotry: where is he??

season 3, 4 : are abs forgettable, i havnt seen them do anytihng at all for singing, have they? the female one and the other man who was a guar he also had a story kia hua?

the real reason was it shd be awaz, and talent only!!

season five : rakesh sriram were both good, sriram won, buyt rakesh is also singnig, shivam unfortunately has limted gerne same like bhoomi and in this season am sorry ot say there was a serious let down in the voices, i felt maybe too much saturatin of singing competetions , medicore were also seclected,

dev: not impressed there is no feel in his voice, too soothing,

amit: nah he dsnt seem to have that comman over it ,

vipul in all of this was thr BEST option and am glad this time actually went on singngi rather than looks, region or charm!!

Vipul participated in Voice of India and he became third...he should have participated in Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar after this...but not in this show with new singers...Vipul had the advantage that he had experience with reality shows so ofcourse his singing is excellent... Its still unfair that he was allowed to be a contestant on this show, this way also people like Raja Hassan, Harshit Saxena etc can participate again and win this show.
Also Vipul lacks the X factor, he sings beautifully no doubt but i dont think he is popular at all compared to the likes of Abhijeet Sawant and Sreeram. Amit or either Devender deserved it so much more, they represent the title 'indian idol' in a better way. I think Vipul will be forgotten, really the worst indian idol ever. 👎🏼

I really hated the way Dev and Amit were treated, It was so disrespectful and rude! They were just thrown in to the backseat and nobody cared. That is not the way to treat someone.

Especially Dev, he is the MOST popular contestant on the show, and EVERYONE thought he was going to win. Even previous Idol winners like Abhijeet and Sreeram. Almost every celeb that came on the show support the dev. The least they could have done was show some respect to the contestants that made this season what this is. They could have at least announced who was 2nd and 3rd and provide some motivation for Amit n Dev!

And where was the rest of the Top 13? Only Poorvi came? 😕

I think Sony spent all their money trying to rope in Big star that they forgot to put on a good finale show.

I feel like they always make the wrong person win just so everyone can talk about it and make a big deal. Indian Idol has been notorious for doing this. That is why we have had great singers losing, and undeserving people win.

I actually think Vipul is the WORST winner of the whole Indian Idol. I'd rather listen to Prashant or even Sandeep compared to this guy!!

With more practice, Amit n Dev can do EXACTLY what Vipul does. But the talent that Amit and Dev have...Vipul can practice day and night and he wont be able to get a fraction of the talent that Amit or Dev has!
