"We've a surprise for both of you"Sanjay chuckled giving a meaningful glance to her wife and then regarded a couple with a smile after having their breakfast , "Dad which surprise are you talking about?"Mayank got confused to see the meaningful looks on his parents' faces and regarded them earnestly.

"You both are going for honeymoon"Shilpa announced and breath caught in Mayank's throat he gave her look from the corners of his eyes who seemed equally nervous like he was.

"But dad---I mean I've to re continue work on my project and how can I leave my work in mid way,this project is my life..already I've been waste enough time due to marriage preparation"Mayank was clearly trying to recover his annoy and determined not to show it. "You can re- continue your work after your honeymoon,you needed a break after continuous work and I don't want you to rejoin office so soon you should spend some time with your wife ,you both couldn't spend much time together before your marriage as you mostly were busy in work but now everything has been changed,you've to take care of your wife and keep in mind what she wants." Sanjay cut him in giving him serious and concern look and he understood there was no way left except going on honeymoon.Mayank thought giving a glance to his parents and then Nupur who was now blushing For some reason, that made Nupur blush , which irritated Mayank, who was already teetering on the verge of frustration, despite his efforts to make himself understands it was expected.he breathed deeply without making a sound and getting annoyed to see those teasing looks he excused and marched towards his room.

"I think he is feeling shy"They both chuckled but Nupur felt something else in his expression as he didn't want to go or was not happy with their parents' decision,wrapping up those scattered thoughts under her smile she tried to busy herself in the conversation again.

Almost half an hour passed and she was busy in packing her stuff while giving him continuous glances who was half lying on couch,resting his head at head rest was busy something doing on his laptop.

"Mayank do you want me to pack your stuff?"she poked out her face from the one of the door of cupboard and Mayank finally lifted his gaze up, "No,I'll do by myself"giving her an uninterested look in his usual stiff voice he spoke and then again dropped his gaze on the laptop screen,something pricked in her heart,the same old stiffness,roughness she felt in their relationship,she knew he was not happy with his parents decision but why was he behaving with her like she was the reason behind their decision.she gulps of air and closed the door of the cupboard, "if you don't want to go on honeymoon then its okay,I'll talk to aunty and will try to convince them that we can postpone this honeymoon until you complete your project."

Mayank lifted his gaze at her who was giving him an understanding smile, "Really,the way you were blushing after listing this news I thought they've fulfilled your heart's desire"he narrowed his eyes giving her a sarcastic smile and His icy tone hit her like a bucketful of freezing water but somehow she managed to look compose,ignoring completely the hurt look on her face he again dropped his eyes on screen typing something and Nupur felt they came back at the same spot where they'd started this relationship,after last night she was happy to think Mayank was understanding,Now he understands her very well but it seemed there was a long way to cross this inconvenience,this roughness ,misunderstandings in their relationship.

"And I thought now you understands me well,yes,it is my heart-desire to be with you always,to get your attention, your care but your wishes,your desires are more important for me than mine.but you always think I am like an immature girl don't try to understand your feelings and I do whatever come in my mind ,I hope one day you'll understand me"

She spoke brokenly and he caught her hiding the tears which were shimmering in her eyes,it realized him what mistake he had been done,surely there was no her fault,how could she understand what was in his mind if he wouldn't tell her.he was annoyed,frustrated but on whom he didn't know,he himself didn't know why he was over reacting at this news,it was expected but may be he was not ready for this as they needed time to take another step in their relationship,he knew she couldn't accept this change,she scared of their intimacy and what if he couldn't control those raising desires,he didn't want to use his right on her without her permission,how could they go on for honeymoon.

She turned on her heel and before she could slip out the room Mayank caught her wrist and yanked her towards him, " I am sorry Nupur,I didn't mean to hurt you"He cradled her cheeks in his palms and she lifted her gaze and could see the truth in his words but she couldn't forget his rough behavior so easily,now she was his wife not his fiance,he should've understood it.

"I don't want your apology"She cocked an eyebrow in anger and tried to pull away herself from his grip but he didn't let her go and slipped his arms around her waist pulling her towards him,she looked bewildered and tilted her face away to ignore his gaze but couldn't hide the effect of his touch which had made her weak in her knees, "I am really sorry Nupur,trust me I didn't mean to hurt you,it was just----" he paused and breathed"I know you're not ready for this honeymoon,we need time to understand each other and I willingly give you time to accept this change in our relationship and I don't want to ruin everything in any---week moment"he hesitantly completed the words and her breath deepened to realize what he wanted to say.she gulps of air before eying him.. *************************** i hope this part makes sense,this conversation is going to be a long one so i am ending this part at this point,i 'll wait for ur comment.. part 15...pg 104
