Agreed. Sneha is loved because they know her - better the devil you know than the devil you don't. They have brought her up so they know that what she does is uncharacteristic...but the parents gave up on Prem before he even got a chance. From day one, Prerna has threatened him, challenged him that she will turn him good...they have had a competition from the start of their relationship; and they have not been able to get out of that cycle. Prerna, while, it is no doubt, may love Prem unconditionally INSIDE, has yet to show it properly to him....miniscule gestures here and there have done nothing to reassure him of her love...

Again, I agree. But what I am trying to find out is if that even matters to parents. What would your parents say if you were Prem? Or any spoiled brat of a kid...what would real-life parents do in Prerna's or Tulsi's situation?

It doesn't look like Prerna is fighting for her other kids' rights. She didnt even enquire abt kasak and vishakha, forget fighting for their rights!!! As a mother, she is supposed to love all her kids equally, but she isn't doing that.

Yes, she still loves prem, and tulsi still loves ansh. but smhow i find prerna's obsession for prem very abnormal..it isnt a normal mother-child relationship. When with prem, she behaves like a mad-woman- loses her own completely. touching his feet, giggling like a 16-yr old girl during that kite scene, or crying like a rudaali, screaming like a lunatic- i dont know whether the actress gets it wrong, or it is SUPPOSED to be like that, but boyy- it is UGLY. i still shudder when i remember the scene she started running after aparna with that big stone because aparna put prem in jail(conveniently forgetting that she herself didnt let bajaj put prem in jail for a crime he DID commit!) also the scene she threatened to kill my poor rishabh because she thought he killed prem...uugghh.

ok so i hv complete sympathy that she lost him when he was a baby etc. etc. etc., but why should the bajajs and deshmukhs also suffer due to that? and why should she behave so abnormal ?
