Discussion - Prem and Prerna

You know, I read a quote somewhere that immediately made me think of Prem and his relationship with Prerna.

The quote is:

"A child needs your love most when he deserves it least" - Erma Bombeck

What do you guys think of this in relation to Prem and Prerna? Or even generally, is this kind of idea right? Just want to know your opinions!

Suits them perfect....& I think its true in most cases...most of the bratty kids really really need the love but dont deserve it!

Wen he needed Prerna by his side she wasn't there but it wasn't her mistake after all he was kidnaped by d Komo then went 2 Apo's hand & now bak 2 Komo after 20 yrs or i shd say 4m good 2 bad 4m bad 2 worse back 2 god & now back 2 worse [komo] once again.

Wen he tried 2 improve no1 beleived him & he was sent 2 bars he was always called a mistake by every1 1st Prenra then Anu & also by aASpo*na.

I wud say 'LIFE IS LIKE A MERIGO AROUND' 1 has 2 come back 2 d point 4m where he begin 2 complete a full circle & this is wat's gonna b happ wid Prem.
Wen he wil need his parents & look back they won't b there after all watever they did will they b able 2 trust him & if they do wats fd garauntee he won't repeat his mistakes.

Parents 4give their kids but y don't kids do?
Aren't they deserve 2 b given a chance 2.

I agree with this quote cuz Prem doesn't deserve the love from Prerna right now but he needs her love because it is important to have love from mother.

I completely agree with this statement. In my opinion, kids only become bratty, greedy and downright ignorant when they do not have the love, affection and attention of their friends and family. The same goes with Yudi. He never was given love when he was growing up and so he had to act out to get attention and be noticed. When Prerna showered him with love, he did not know how to handle it cuz he had never seen such love before. But, if Prerna and the Basu's and Bajaj's had not suspected him as the criminal for so many things, then he would have become Prem in the right sense.

I think this discussion is meaningless. I mean, u are just 'assuming' that Prerna isn't giving prem her love right now, which is an incorrect assumption.
PREM is sm1 prerna will always always love because he is the symbol of her passionate eternal affair with anurag.

If u observe her dialogues of these days properly, she is blaming komolika for whatever happened to the bajajs. She is saying stuff like "tumne mere bete ko apne saath kar liya" and even sam told prem "komolika will dump u soon and then ur parents will be there for u". So Prerna's fight is against komolika. And mainly, this fight isn't for bajaj's business or his own kids' rights (bajaj and his kids are grown up ppl and they can look after themselves). but this fight is between Prerna and Komolika, FOR PREM. Prerna is fighting komolika the same way she is fighting aparna- to have prem back! besides, prerna has this concept in her mind that prem is doing wrong things because of aparna-komolika, it isn't his own fault. and she LIVES by this philosophy. so we'll soon see her showering prem with love, but to love him, she needs to get rid of komo first, and that's what she is upto these days. She is fighting this battle not out of her love for bajaj family, but out of her desperation to have prem back-free from the clutches of komolika. the mother who touches her child's feet..can actually go to any extent for him.

For prerna, anu-sneha-prem are three ppl that MATTER, and as long as these 3 don't clash in between each other, she can continue loving them. That is why u see prem still showing affection for sneha, and prem not troubling the basus though he has ruined the bajajs. As long as prem-sneha-anu are all on one side, prerna's love will flow for all three of them. her real kasauti will be if she has to choose bet. prem and sneha, or prem and anurag, but that hasn't happened at least so far.

The bajajs really don't matter- they are too insignifant in prerna's life, in comparison to prem's importance in her life. u wud never see her doing a tulsi or mother india- her love for prem overrides everything for her -even her sense of right and wrong, of justice and injustice and even makes her forget that as a mother, she is supposed to love anurag's kids and bajaj's kids EQUALLY.
