Part 3

The whole ride to the grocery store comes out as a torture for Arjun as most of the time Arohi was talking to Mike, sitting on the front passenger seat of the car. Bored like hell, Arjun leaned his head at the back and cursed his luck that dropped Mike into his love life. How he thought that he would come out as her rescuer on which being away from her family, she can depend...and here...seems like she already had one.

"Girl...There is gonna be an art exhibition tonight...Wanna join?" Mike asked casually.

"Yeah sure Mike..." Arohi replied excitedly as she turned her body to face him now

"and that reminds me about last time, as kids when we went to an art exhibition..." Her brows raised with a mischievous smile that turn to laugh when Mike exclaimed unbelieving "Oh God!! how can I ever forget that..." And the both laughed leaving arjun with a weird face.

"You know man...ummm...Arjun Right" and arjun nodded uninteresting... "Last time when we went to an art exhibition...I think we were about 14" Mike wondered

"No" came a straight reply from Arohi... "I was just 11 then" as conscious as she was of her age ever

"Whatever dear...what matter is that hilarious part" Mike chuckled and was about to start when Arohi interrupted him

"No mike...I will tell him" She said with an authority

"No dear...Its me who gonna tell that" Mike argued and that was a start...Till half of the way they were arguing on who would take the honor of telling that funny story to him while he just keep sitting covering his ears with his hands.

"No me..." Arohi whined

"No Arohi...thats me" Mike replied

"Shut up you both now" Arjun said finally not taking that anymore...They both turn back to look at Arjun who was burning with anger now

"I am no more interested in hearing a story..." He said finally. "And you Arohi...dare say a word now and I will tell aunty & uncle that you are already on your mission to 'WAYS TO TORTURE ARJUN' here..." Arjun warned her as she was about to say something but get quiet hearing that. No matter how much of fun she was having with Mike, she didn't wanna upset Arjun...

But Arjun was unaware of the boredom, he had to suffer in the Supar Market as Arohi and Mike were running cum walking into the market. He got himself a hand trolley and roam around with heavy steps, picking out few jelly packs, a wine bottle, some creamy biscuits and salty chips...some junk food for himself for today, not depending on Arohi's cooking expertise and went to the counter...On the other hand, Arohi and Mike come with two trolleys filled with stuff and sighing, Arjun paid the bill

Life couldn't be more worse than seeing your love spending more time with her childhood friend than her best friend...Unluckily, Mike was also the student of the same university as Arjun and Arohi...and that made Arjun life even more terrible and him, more aggressive...but he was trying hard to control for her sake...sometimes he would just wish to break Mike's nose for coming into his Arohi's life once again

Arohi had pretty quickly adjusted herself in Mike's group of friends which include Sam, Harry, Liam, Misha & Kristein and was now also a part of that gang...no need to say, Arjun was pulled into that group too by her but he couldn't retort back thinking of her happiness...

Soon, Arjun was being called as one of the hottest hunks of University due to his perfect looks...Girls were practically throwing themselves over him but he was least interested in them...Cause the one he need was way away planning pranks with her newly founded friends over poor students and teachers...

He would put a smile on his face but in the night, couldn't stop himself to burn over the aggression and fear and would cry into his pillow...

"Rashi...I can't take it anymore...Its been four months we are here...and she rarely spend any time with me...In the thoughts of getting her to realize my love, I think I am on the verge of loosing a friend here" His fear was visible in the tone of his voice...

"Bhai...don't loose hope...If she is not spending anytime with you, make her realize that...May be she isn't even conscious of her actions that much" Rashi said trying to sooth the pain of her only brother

"May be...Or may be I am feeling all that cause I have never shared her with anyone..." Arjun said rubbing his fingers on his forehead in order to calm himself down

"Yeah...May be..." Rashi agreed... "Don't worry...you will have her for eternity...I am sure of that...Right now, just go, take a medicine for your headache...and sleep for a while...everything gonna be alright" Arjun felt a lil relaxed and bid bye...smiling how well his sister know him even staying miles apart, she know that he must be suffering from headache

Next Morning, Arjun and Arohi were running late and took place in the car lift, they have hired to go to the university till there stay in USA as the driving license procedure is too long to go through...Anyways, they weren't planning to stay here more than that...

Arjun nudge her slowly who was busy in checking something in her bag...

"Yeah..."

"Ummm...I need to talk to you about something" Arjun started politely...

"Can it wait??? I need to revise something now...damn yesterday, I got to caught up with Harry and Misha in a late night phone conversation that totally forget about this" She said mumbling and opening the notes infront of her not leaving a chance for him to say anything

"Yeah...May be on our ride back home" Arjun said disappointingly and turned his face to look out from the window...

"Damn, that was hilarious" Sam exclaimed laughing out loud as he turn the chair in the canteen and took place on the table which was already reserved by Arjun, who came straight there after his classes but got a message from Arohi which said that the group will join him in a few minutes...

"What is so funny? Another prank???" Arjun said in between his teeth...He was angry and fed up...Those few minutes Arohi said turn out to be half an hour...

"Yeah...Arohi you are a genius...how can you think of such pranks??...I mean giving that arrogant Accounting teacher a cup of tea having salt instead of sugar with such a sweet smile, that he couldn't throw that away and had to gulp down..."

"his face was worth watching" Misha agreed

"That's what he deserve to fail Kristen in her test just cause of the anger she showed to tell him that he had solved that question in a wrong way that day...Arrogance gonna pay him" Arohi replied as they all settled down and placed the orders...

"Arohi...we will leave after this Right" Arjun asked in slow voice to Arohi who was sitting beside her

"yeah" Arohi agreed...

"Ummm Arohi...will you like to see mine and Misha dresses before tonight's University party...I wanna take your advise on some accessories, I shall wear with that..." Kristine asked taking last bite of her sandwich and Arohi was more than willing to agreed...Dresses, Shopping, Accessories were her biggest weakness...typical girl...

"Yeah sure" she replied quickly, totally forgetting about Arjun who has to say something to her and stand up..."Lets Go"

"But Arohi..." Arjun started to say something...

"We will talk in the night Arjun" she said in an irritating tone and saying so, she grabbed the girls hands and went to the girls hostel associated with University at Misha's Dorm...

An infuriated Arjun left the table in a rush and no one else seem to notice that other than Sam...

No matter how much Arjun try to keep himself away from the group, but he has developed a lil friendly bond with Sam who understand him more than others...

Arjun was sitting on the bench outside in the huge playground of the university, chewing his nails and on the edge of crying...the pain and fear of loosing her was weakening him down...Sam spotted him and quietly took seat on the other edge of the bench, putting his bag in lap in a hugging position...

"Depressed??" He asked looking away...Arjun quickly wipe his tears

"No, I am OK" he replied after a moment...Sam turn to look at him and move his body a lil forward to put his hand on arjun's shoulder...

"You can't hide that disappointment and hurt on your face buddy...so you better don't lie..." He said with a truthfulness in his voice that make Arjun feel lost of words

"I know why you are upset..." Sam started after a moment. "Arohi right" Arjun stay quiet for sometime and than as his patience loosed, he nodded

"We have been friends from the last ten years Sam...We have shared everything with eachother, either its some news, pranks and even food...We never ignored eachother for anyone...but now, suddenly she is behaving like I don't exists in her life anymore" Arjun felt stupid saying that infront of Sam as those words means that he blamed him and his group of friends to take away his Arohi from him...

"I am sorry Arjun" Sam said once again..."Though its not our fault man...You know sometimes what happens..." Sam take a breath and started again..."when we have something or someone constant in our life, we started taking them for granted...not on impulse but unknowingly completely trusting that no matter whatever we do, that thing or that person is gonna stay with us forever, through thick and thin...through life's roughness or smoothness...we get so used to them that even thinking that someday or another...they can just move away from us...doesn't seem possible...Arohi treats you just like that" Sam said making Arjun thoughtful...

"She trusts you too much...that she don't really know your real value...and that's where you should work" Sam pat his back softly and just hears the bell ring...

"My last class for the day...You are free so you better go home as God knows when these girls will end there dress up meeting" He chuckled as Arjun smiled at his statement and bid bye...

But Sam words surly left an impact...

Till now, he had the plan that going away from his family, he will work to get himself a lil close to Arohi on an emotional level...by being her moral support, her guide, her partner with whom she can share her worries but now...he know what better he can do...

Arjun go through Sam words in great detail, but couldn't find peace...He know that whatever he said, do have a logic...but just the fact that she is taking him for granted wasn't acceptable to him...

Arohi was dropped back home at 5 by Kristien and when Arjun tried to talk to her, she rushed into the washroom to take a shower and get ready for the reunion party where they can meet the seniors of them who are now working successfully in there lives...these kinds of parties were encouraged by the university so that the juniors can get a better view of how challenging the life gonna be and how well they can manage it under the guidance of the senior's experience...

Arjun thought to keep quiet for now as Arohi seems to be rushing away from him...and tonight atleast he don't want that...They are gonna go as partners, and he don't wanna see her with bad face...

He quietly get ready wearing his black jeans with a white blazer and a white collared underneath shirt...and Arohi truly compliment him with her white sleeveless platted dress which was falling down to her knees in a beautiful way...White strapped pumps making her legs graceful and long...Her hairs were falling down naturally from behind after gripping few strands at the back of the head with the help of a crystal stoned hair-catcher. A broad wide crystal bangle was gracefully dangling in one hand while other having a nice white watch...the make-up was minimum with a lil of dull red lipstick making her look sexy...all in all, she was looking simply gorgeous...

"You are looking fabulous" Arjun commented, not being able to take his eyes off her

"So do you..." Arohi commented with a smile...

As they both entered the ball room, as expected all eyes got fixed on them. While girls gasp seeing this stunning graceful man, boys sigh and wished to hold this white beauty in there arms but the main leads escort eachother inside as they lead towards the group...

"Who is this hotty??" A brown eye girl asked to a man, standing beside her...

"Arjun Singhania...he joined the university few months back for extra courses and is getting extremely popular between girls...but beware, he is not that kind...He is happy to just stay with his best friend, that girl beside him..." The boy pointed towards Arohi... "to look around...Forget him Tanya, He is not so your type"

Tanya took a sip of her wine as her gaze still lingered on Arjun and as her lips, leave the glass, they turn themselves into a grin...

"He is Samar...he surly is my type" Tanya said with a wicked smile as she looked at Arjun who was ordering the drinks for himself and Arohi
