Maan turned to face her still lying on her lap..he held her hand tight near his heart.."I don't know about others but maan always needs u by his side espcly when I face failure,whenever something unbearable happens with me….i find peace when u are with me n I forget everything if I see ur smile…promise me that u'll be there for me in every step..i need u in every second of my life..infact u are my life.." geet smiled n kissed on his forehead..she nodded saying.."ha maan mein hamesha tumhare saath rahungi.."

Geet removed the chain which was tied round her neck n tied it around maan's…"geet ye kya hai??"maan asked holding the chain in his palm..geet smiled at him while fixing it n spoke.."maan this chain is my mom's..u know it's very valuable to me n very close to my heart..ye hamesha se mere saath tha n iam giving this to u..ise hamesha apne paas rakhna..muje lagega ki mera dil tumhare pass hai..if u take off this chain…(sighs)then I'll think that u erased me from ur heart.."maan closed her mouth when she tried to speak further nodding in no…he got up from her lap n sat beside her..

Maan held the chain in his palm n kissed it.."I promise u geet..i never ever remove this chahe kuch bhi hojaye..no one not even god can erase u or my love for u ..jisdin aisa hoga us din maan zinda nahi rahega."geet closed his mouth nodding in no..maan smiled n kissed on her palm..geet smiled back n hugged him tight…

The moment geet tied chain in maan's neck anand entered the place looking for geet as it's quite late now.he fumed in anger seeing them together..he thought that maan would have broke down completely but he is smiling as if nothing has happened…geet never allowed anyone to touch the chain even meera..she loves meera a lot but she never gave it to her but today she happily gave it to maan…he at once began to think that his golden chance to earn lots of money has gone now…"kitni mishkil se indono ke beech jagda karwaya tha but now everything is gone waste.."he thought glaring at them…

Geet:maan toh kya socha tumne..what are u going to do now?? Anand heard geet asking maan who held her in his arms."hmmm have to search for another job…have a call from 2 companies…2,3 auditions bhi hai..so gonna try my hand in them…hopefully isbaar success miljaye"maan said holding her more tight…

Anand smirked as his evil mind said him what to do now.."smile maan smile..i promise u this will be the last time "he phoned to his boss n said something n then smiled evilly after listening reply from other person….

Next morning maan started his struggle for his job..for his surprise both the companies refused him to take him even when he did everything right..they gave him silly reasons in response to his demand for an explanation…days went like that..maan daily used to go in search for some job hoping to get the one but everyone refused him…maan is not able to understand what to do..he is confused thinking about the big companies who refused to take him,the one who requested him once to join their company…he even failed in auditions rather say was being failed..

Anand's boss is the top business man in the city.so he managed everyone to reject maan..he ensured that maan cant get a single chance in music field…anand's plan started working.his plan to create mu between maaneet as it is the only weapon to separate them but how??they trust each other it is highly impossible…at the same point he remembered maan's negative attribute n to be his advantage n that's maan's anger and ego…

Maan everytime looked frustated when ever he faced failure..even many started to stop him from attending any audition giving chance to someone..everytime whenever maan attended an interview or audition anand n his boss ensured that maan wont get that job..maan's anger started reaching its' peak not becoz he is not getting any job but becoz they are giving him silly reasons for refusal which were not at all reasonable…he is not geetiing why n what's happening with him..

It's been almost 3 months maan lost his job n has been searching for new one…one day when maan was coming out from cabin completing his interview not to forget being rejected again... he saw anand n his boss with the MD of the company who first offered for job but then rejected him with silly reason again saying he don't have experience and all..even after seeing his talent…maan suspected that something was wrong but today when he saw anand thanking his boss for making maan jobless n closing his ways again n again…

Maan fumed in anger n went to him ready to pouncce on him.."sir you are really very great…aap bas aise hi mere madat karthe rehna phir geet aapki hojayegi bas thoda aur time dedijiye muje. mera plan execute karne ka time agaya ab…aaj hi mein geet se…."he stopped when he heard clapping sound n it's none other than maan who stood galring at him n his eyes are spitting fire..

"wow kya khel khela tumne…maanna padega…sach kehtha hoon aaj tak tum jaisa ghatiya insaan ko kabhi nahi dekha... apne hi beti ko chi……arey himmat hai toh saamne se waar karo yu peeche se nahi…you failed to keep me away from geet with your bloody threats.. you failed to keep geet away from me so u are playing this game but listen you can never ever suceed in this and ha forget about it if u are planning to do something..iam leaving u just becoz u are geet's father…sorry so called father who can stoop to any extent for money.."he gave disgusting look to anand n left from there..

But anand shamelessly laughed as he have his own plans…

Anand reached home n saw geet is working on lappy…he smiled to her n settled beside her…"arey chachu aap agaye…I'll get tea for u"geet said n about to go but anand held her hand confusing her…"beta wanna talk to u something imp"

Geet:ha chachu tell na…

"beta I don't know whether I have right to interfere in ur life..becoz I cant judge ur life..i always loved u more than meera n can do anything for ur happiness..i just want to see u happy beta"saying so he acted as if he is wiping his tears..

Geet confusingly…"ha chchu I know that u can do anything for my happiness n u love me a lot but why u are saying this…I never said that u cant take decisions of my life…kahiye kya baat hai??"

"wo beta muje pata chala ki tum aur maan…"he looked at her embarassesed n scared face n smiled.."beta darne ki koi zarurat nahi…iam with u in every decision of yours.."

Geet smiled in tears thinking how much he loves her..she thought he'll burst on her for hiding their relation but he is ready to accept not even asking what is maan n what he'll do??what kind of a person he is…"matlab chachu aap…"she asked in tears of happiness..

Anand caressed her hair n smiled with a nod"ha beta iam ready to accept maan as my son in law but…." Geet knotted her eyebrows to know what's problem now…"but beta every father needs their children happiness n even me…har baap chahtha hai ki apni beti kush rahe us par koi apatti na aye…ha mein maantha hoon ki tum dono mein pyaar hai but it's not enough to lead life beta…we need money to survive, to lead a happy n peaceful life n you know maan don't have any job…"geet dipped down her head in anguish.."chachu I know but he is trying hard par…"

"ha ha beta I know itni asani se job milna mushkil hai…when I thought to accept ur relation do u think I don't find any way to help my would be son in law.."geet looked at him with a smile n in tears thinking how lucky she is to have dad like him..anand caressed her cheek n continued.."ha beta iam ready to help maan in finding a job…I spoke with my boss about maan n he is ready to give him that job.."geet smiled happily "but beta…"

"but kya chachu??"geet asked eagerly.."but I don't think maan would accept my proposal..you know young blood wont accept defeat that easily..maan is li'l egoistic mera matlab hai accha ladka hai but he wants to do everything on his own which is not possible now…I would feel very happy if maan accept me as his dad n get ready to do this job…I just want ur happiness beta n I know it's with maan"

Geet hugged him n cried in his embrace.."chachu iam really very lucky…you don't know how happy iam…aap chinta mat kijiye maan zarur maanega..mein hoon na. maan mere liye kuch bhi karega…mein abhi maan se baat karthi hoon"geet said n left the place immedaitely to talk to maan…

Chachu wiped his crocodile tears smiling evily.."wah anand wah kya acting ki tune..tumhe toh oscar milni chahiye…poor geet tumhe kya lagtha hai maan maanjayega….bilkul bhi nahi after whatever he saw today…wow my golden days are very near"he laughed like a moron…

Geet came to terrace n saw maan in deep thoughts..she smiled n hugged him from back…maan who was waiting for geet so that he can show her chachu's true colors spoke"geet kaha thi tum n why u were not attending my call…I wanna talk something very imp"

Geet closed his mouth before he could continue.."first listen to me..i too have something important…and ha it's a good news n pehle mein bolungi..o sunne ke baad na tum kushi ke maare pagal ho jaoge"she said excitely like a kid…

"geet plz iam not in a mood of masti plz listen to me…tumhari chachu.."

"matlab tumhe pata hai.."geet jumped excitedly..maan looked at her puzzled.."that means u know that chachu accepted our relation n he is ready to give my hand in ur's"she said hugging him by waist…

"what's this drama now??"maan mumbled but it's audible to geet.."drama??"she looked at him in confusion.."ha geet iam sure he is playing some trick again warna o kameena aise kese maanega.."

"maan..kya bakwas kar rahe ho…and is this the way to adress elders..pata hai he agreed even after knowing that you don't have any job…"

"geet mein sach keh raha hoon..tumhara chachu ek gatiya insaan hai ..he is trying to play with u…u don't know what he is trying to do with u n our realtion…he was responsible for everything happened in my life…he is the reason I lost my job"

"I don't want that..i can do things on my own n waise bhi I don't want anything from nasty person like him..i know how much he is worried for me..no need of his interference in my life n I don't give him any right to decide what to do n what not"maan said sternly..

"ok no need of his interference but I guess I have all rights to ask u anything right!!"geet asked angrily..she is not able to tolerate a word against her chachu whom she considers as her god n the way maan talked made her more angry..she is not listening what he is saying..

"teek hai u don't accept cahchu's offer…I guess u are trying for job since 3 months..kuch huwa nahi…nahi na...mere khayal se u almost attended interview of all companies but job nahi mila…what will u do if u wont get any job??how will u take care of me??how will u take care of ur wife??bolo maan"

Maan turned holding her arms tight n glaring at her..

"geet..you should not ask this as u know that I will never let anything go wrong..if u trust me,if u trust my ability then u should not ask me this question…how can u think that I cant afford to take care of my wife..i'll do any thing I mean anything to fulfill needs of my wife my geet..what I need is ur support that's it.."

"maan I never meant to hurt u but try to understand.."geet tried to say something but stopped.."I understood geet… u need job na…ok then..i'll be back with a job in 24 hours..happy now"maan said n stormed out at moment picking his file n shirt…geet tried to stop but maan left without listening to her…

Maan came back to home in the mid night very tired..geet's words are ringing in his mind making him restless..he should get the job at any cost that's it but what to do where to go..he is not able to understand anything..he moved to kitchen to grab something to eat..geet in her anger forgot to keep something for maan to eat..it's her duty daily n maan got accustomed with it..so he grabbed waterbottle to drink some water atleast…that's when his gaze fell on some envelope which was lying at door step…

Maan opened it to read n his facial expressions changed to extreme happiness but there is li'l nervousness still..he got interview call the very the very next day..maan determined to gain that job at anycost..so he started his preparations not wanting to give any chance for them to refuse him..
